Wait is the OP serious? This is a video game and as of yet no video game can replicate what your eyes do when you focus on something, especially when driving. Realistically you can only see what is directly ahead of you as we visualize in 3 dimensions. Your eyes instantly and automatically switches focus on the fly, even if you had a game attempting to do that, it would have to be hooked up to your brain in order to understand where you are actually attempting to focus your view.
FM3 interior view is by far, complete garbage, you cannot see much of anything to either side and the view is too close to the windshield feels like you are in a cramped car with the seat moved all the way forward to the steering wheel.
Do any of you even drive cars, some of you completely don't know how your own vision works, you only notice things in your peripheral when it changes it's state, other than that you would be oblivious to anything outside of your directional focus. Just because when you jump into your car you see from one door to the next, I guarantee you that when you start driving you see even less. When you drive, you pretty much never see your passenger side mirror and the to see the driver side you actually have to turn your FOV to that side, which takes away half of your view of the road.
Sure we all want to see more, best view use the bumper cam, because as in real life those A pillars do a number on you. What someone needs to implement is a view stretch for when you want to look to your peripheral. The view would skew forward as you cast your view to whichever side and it would do it smoothly and not as jarringly fast as it does now.
GT5 tries to give you a view that allows you to see fender to fender and not be taken up by too much of the inside of the car, because in a real humans peripherals you can see your legs, your immediate window, the interior roof and some of your dash. Just remember that you cannot focus on all that at once, while your eyes are constantly taking in information and can switch focus at a whim, this is a game and that is hard to replicate to a degree without upsetting the flow of gameplay.
