Of course there's codes, use a search engine.

There aren't as many sophisitcated tricks as you'd find for GT2, but you can hybrid cars, change the laps, find a hidden track, and get tons of credits.

That's one of my favorite parts about the GranTurismo series. It's "cheat code free". Why use cheat codes when you can just get good at the game? Actually get your money's worth out of it ...

I figured he meant GameShark codes. There are a few.

The stupidest cheat code I saw online was to race backwards on the Test Course for a lap and you win a BMW M3. Yeah, right!

Just keep trying. The worst thing you can do is keep working at the same test over and over again. Just try another, then go back to it.

Theres a CD that you can get, a demo cd. If you load the demo files onto your memory card, you then have all golds, all races done, max amount of money and 100 cars in alphabetical order.

No, but let's not start problems here...like advising people to do 100 car washes so they get a "special car".

I did run across a long GS code series that allows you to pick the 100 cars you'd like in your garage. Haven't tried it yet, though.

I found that code a good basis for learning how to use a Game Shark Pro.

I have codes which let you put fun cars cheap into the day 1 lineup...

That's NA v1.0, and I've never tested it with a GameShark CDX. I think other people have tested it with a CDX, though.

:p

Sorry for piling in on it...

Those NN-NN-NN dates confuse me, and I didn't realize the most recent posts were so non-recent...

Does anyone know the code for Low Lincensed Times for GT1 and GT2?

"Reset Timer Instantly" might do what you want. Lots of other codes there, too.

The above URL appears to work directly, but if it doesn't seem to work for you, you might need to go to one of

http://www.cmgsccc.com/
http://www.cmgsccc.com/psx/

and work your way down...

P.S. cmgsccc used to stand for Code Masters' Game Shark Code Creator's Club, but there's some alternative expansion to avoid the trade mark, but I can't recall it right now.
