Colin Mcrae Rally 3: Is it worth it?

I read a lot of reviews on Medal of Honor Rising Sun, which was one of the 2 games that I asked for for x-mas, and they mostly said that it was o.k or that it sucked. So, I've decided to un-ask for it and I've been thinking a lot about Colin Mcrae Rally 3. I've wanted this game for a while but all the reviews I see are very mixed. They say it's either really crappy or excellent. I can't rent it b/c I have no money and my parents won't do it so you guys are the last people that I can ask and get an honest answer.

So, tell me, is it worth it? Is it any good?

Buy the 4, I have the 3 and the physics are messed up but go with the 4, even though it cost more than the 3.

I have Colin Mcrae 3 and it's one of the best racing games of all times!!!!! IT's the BEST rally game by far!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great damage and car modeling, great driving handling, great sound!!!!!!! it's fricking awesome. Got it 4 months ago and still play all the time. Better rally simulation than gran turismo (rally circuits)... in my opinion.

CM4 is far better than CM3, but I don't think its out in the US yet.

I'd rate WRC II Extreme over CM3, so go for that until CM4 comes out.

However WRC III is out in the UK now, I'm yet to play it, but will let you know when I have.

Cool thanks. The thing is I've never seen WRC II Extreme in any store. I guess I could order it if I got really desperate.

Had a quick check and i'm not sure that WRC II Extreme has been released in the US.

God it must suck with some many NASCAR titles and so few Rally ones.

All I see is the EA NASCAR titles, Not any other. But you'll guys need to get NFS: Underground or Tokyo Xtreme Racer3. I would take Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 over NFS: Underground any day, but I have both. I am planning on getting CMR4. But I am also play on getting WRC3. Hard choice.
