I mean, not even a month has passed from CMR3 and they are already announcing the 4th version. It smells rush to me, and I know it is going to suck BIG

I'll tell you what I smell - I smell a French car manufacturer who's angry their big dollar star driver's being shown in a video game driving a Ford. I also smell an attempt to sneak in before WRC III (what will that be called - Even More Extreme!)

Which one is rushed though 3 or 4. Is 3 the unfinished/unpolished product and 4 is the finished product or is 4 the all new rushed product ?

Good one. Maybe they're both rushed?

IMO, Codemasters are off-form at the moment. I didn't think much of CMR3, and I thought TOCA/V8 Supercar Race Driver was pretty disappointing (although I haven't run the PC version) yet. For the guys that did the TOCA series and the first two CMR's, they've struggled with the shift to the next generation of consoles.

this is a surprise, cmr 3 just came out so soon. well, how good cmr4 is depends on what is improved.

as for cmr3 being rushed, I think it was in developement for like 2 years. im not saying from first hand experience it is great, I actually havent played it yet. I was awaiting it for a long time though, and better go pick it up soon!

cmr3 was released in europe back in november 2002. we in the u.s. got i on april 22/2003. to us it is rushing it to europe it is not.
cmr3 is the best out there when it comes to physics and damage.
replay and presentation goes to w.r.c.II, we don't have it here yet. and it too was released in europe in 2002 in november.

i hope we don't get left out as usuall till the end this time.
and regarding pro race driver or you can call it toca race driver or v8 what ever it's name. that game sucked big time, it is still colleceting dust somewhere in my room. shame on codemasters and theire marketing depatment
