Hey Zee, between us Germans - there is no such word as "Rennenfeier" in german... Nevermind though, nice try mein Freund! :D

I sense crashes in the very tight part of Hockenheim short, but thats alright. Crashes are a part of racing.
 
So we'll race Silverstone with our GT3 car, then use the Battley :) and finally the GT3 car again at Hockenheim, right?

FLX, crashes are part of any race as it its the racer job to do everything in his power to avoid them :p
 
I did not play for the past couple of days and I was unaware of the LFA.

Tomorrow I won't be here for sure... Sunday will be a total disaster unless I find the time to practice :(

I did get on top 5 in LFA invitational though the last time I played though... took me an hour but I did it :D

PS: FLX, what about selling the over-powered beetles? :lol:
 
Man Rommie, wee need zose again! And I dont wanna lose those tunes... Its more like my 8C and the Megane and maybe something else will have to go!

After this weekend, I can sell the Bentley and the LFA, then I will have some budget again... And I m still grinding to get the 10 Mio trophy.

But last night I got a major blow, maybe the new low point in my briliant/frustrating time with Shift 2: In the Spa enduro (last one I need to do) I fought some SLSs off with my S3. Hustled my way to first place, gained a lot in Eau Rouge and the part until the uphill last section before bus stop, where the more powerful SLSs would eat up the gap to my brave little Audi. So I had a brilliant race, sweating like a Mofo, hustling, blocking, tension, adrenaline, several times side by side through bus stop and the last hairpin and then, just when I gained a bit cause the SLS probably ate its rear tires, in lap 19/20 while perfectly nailing Eau Rouge... FREEZE!!! I was so aggrevated, I cant even find the right words. Better not ask me how much I want to play Piece of Shi(f)t 2 today. :ouch:
 
Hey chaps, Rom dont tell me your not a fan of 911s?. Yes FLX its a killer when that happens, it had me on mount p about 10 times, pissed me off big style
 
No, Steve, he is a big fan of 911s, its me who isnt! And I m from Stuttgart... Rommie and Zee already threatened to come fly here to poke me with hot irons if I furthermore talk bad about the overpowered beetles, Clarkson-Style! :D

Fun fact: I won both races with the 911 RSR in the Legends Championship!

HEEEE AAAAAHHHH. I'm gonna fill my camelbak with beer water so i don't even need to take my butt off the Recaro seat (I imagine it like a Recaro OK???)

I need to change the dark visor on my helmet though :crazy:

Anyway, I hope that later I can buy the LFA and do some laps with the Bentley and LFA with you guys.

I also need to go to Dubai and try the 911 again. I can go below 2m offline but last time I barely reached the 2m online :( I know is not much of a tune but hell, 1s is an eternity racing wise

Gawd, I totally forgot how much I hate the LFA in Shift 2 (loved it in GT5 - huh?!), definitely will sell that POS and the B-Bentley directly after Sundays session!

I am with you on the LFA. The cars handles fine...I dislike it for personal reasons lol.
 
What the hell, vaxx..? Nah, I hate it cause it handles like a bowl of Ramen through slow corners and its ugly as sin. Looks like the Corolla of Supercars.

Anyway, my hate on it today might have more to do with a solid hate for the game itself rising in me than that stupid car itself. I tried the Nordschleife night enduro for the first time, the car handles totally different than during the day, like its on ice with buttered tires. Totally fake feeling and its just BS - like so many other things with this horribly frustrating bugfest of a game. :ouch:
 
Hi guys...just read the whole thread, and I was a little bit concerned about all the bugs and freezing issues mentioned.

What platform are you guys using ?

I'm on Xbox, and to be honest, except back in the early days before the patches became available I don't seem to have experienced such problems either off or online (though I haven't been online for over a month now).

Just to give me an idea of whether I'd be making a complete fool of myself by asking to join a race club such as yours, can someone give me some lap times I'd need to be able to make in order to be competitive ?

Shall we say London River Class GT1 and or Class A ?

Brands GP Class A ?

Autopolis Class A ?

Mount Panorama Class A ?

GT3...any track you have figures for ? (I'd have to go see what I can do to match, as I've no saved times for those).

Any responses, especially with figures much appreciated. 👍

Edit to add: I'm 83% career completion now....only drift to do.
 
To join the League You need to have PS3 machine
 
Graham, sorry but we re racing on PS3. Luckily for you, it seems that we have the short stick, bug- and problem-wise. I m sure somewhere in the internet there has to be a forum where you can find a tournament like this on the Xbox.

For laptimes, I can do a 1.48 with the Z4 GT3 at Silverstone Bridge, a 1.42.5 at Hockenheim GP. Take off 3 seconds and you have Steve182rs's times. :indiff:

I've been doing a few time attack laps at London River, and I can't better 1.20 in the GT3 Audi LMS at the moment....maybe just having an off day. 👎

Hooo got a lot of catching up to do with you guys. RL has been interfering seriously with my racing this week and I have not played much. Did some Carrera tuning last night and got 2 freezes....I am really getting p...off with this now. Some condolence FLX; I was desperate to win the M3 GT3 car a few weeks ago. I got a freeze on lap 5 during the night race at Nords (after I did countless laps trying to get ahead of the AI). So I just gave up and don't bother anymore. I only have 2 friends on my Speedwall who have completed the night race.

You guys are welcome to start an hour earlier on Sunday ie if it is okay with Vaxx, Fuzzy and Texas. Can you please let us know. Sunday will be 5 races as explained,2 from last week and Round 3. Once again thank you to Vaxx and Fuzzy for helping out 👍
