Comentary on replay!?!?

i just purchased [from a lot of b-spec racing ^^;]the HKS/Genki Hyper silvia ichgo RS2, and took it for a test spin for a few laps of drifting at Opera Paris; however when i watched the replay, some guy started talking {in japanese ofcorse -_-} about my new car!!! sooo COOOL~! can anyone here translate it for me? i would realy like to know more about my favorite d1 drivers car! Thanks!
 
I've noticed this it's very cool but I have no idea what the guy is talking about. I reakon the UK version will be vioced over by VBH.

Do you mean like a sort of commentary like in football games??!
 
I don't think he's talking about how well/badly your driving, I think he's talking about the car your driving and possibly info on the track as well but it's not like football commentry.

The guy is talking about the car in the replay from what I know, don't know if there is anything about the track. But definitely not about your driving.
 
I doubt that there's comments for the track or for your way of driving, that would need too much space on the DVD and would need to work a lot o variables considering the way you drive, as it changes from person to person... I also think that only some very specific cars have this type of comment....
 
The comments are genric to the car, not your driving or track. In fact it is the same as what is in the "refernce guide" that comes with the copies. Whoever is reading it is reading directly from there.....t least the ones I have heard.

I so hope she doesn't do the voice overs again. That women knows nothing about cars. Her idea of a car review is how much smoke you can kick up when wheel spinning away from the lights :mad: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: (Not that Clarkson is much better tbh :O)

Just my opinon, doesn't mean it's right.

I'd much rather have a former Touring car/F1 driving do the commentary. At least they know what they are talking about.

I recon Clarkson would be a good choice for a laugh, I mean just imagine what the commentary would be for the Vectra. :D Or even Hammond and the long haired lanky bloke.
 
I like the idea of car info commentary, but if I have to drive the car, or diddle with some book just to get the info on it, I won't be pleased. I'd rather just read the info at the dealership (and none that scrolling text nonsense!!)

I like the idea of an Ex-driver doing commentary. There's all kinds to pick from. Hobbs, Rahal, Moss, Shelby, Donohue, Granatelli, Bondurant, Hill, Foyt, Donohue, Andretti etc. etc. Or one of the old guys who raced *everything*

Or we could have non-ex-drivers like James May, Hammond, Jim Scoutten, Csaba Csere, Frank Markus, or even Jay Leno or Tim Allen. Just any car person that isn't Clarkson >:|

I like hearing Jeremy Clarkson's comment, but I hope he's not in the game saying ACCECTLY THE SAME comment for the same car OVER AND OVER AGAIN, that would, I think, FORCE me to stop watching Top Gear
 
Dude...I'd SO rather listen VBH (droooolll) talking than rahal, hill or any of those guys....

David Hobbs would be interesting though...haha

Though getting drivers to talk about cars they drove would be interesting. Shelby with his cobras...etc....

She's not the prettiest girl on TV but she certainly isn't a dog so I don't know why you'd puke. Besides she has a big mouth which is goo...... I'll stop.
 
You hear it during some test run replays, it doesn't happen for every car as said above.

I think that when you've tested your car out a few times hearing the same thing AGAIN AND AGAIN about your car, it's getting pretty annoying. But I still like the comment on GT4, it's really something I've never heard of before and that also gives me some hope for a lot more other things not discoverd yet.

It would be cool if the 5 time Le mans ( most of em in a row if i remember correctly) champion Tom christensen could do the voice overs... especially with the bentley speed 8 and the audi le mans car since he and his has driven both of those cars to victory.

I agree. The first few times it'd have novelty value but after a while it's just be annoying. So IMO interesting feature but let me turn it OFF!!!
