I've had this discussion with many drifters online.
Which tires do you drift with and why?

Personally i use comfort soft over the hard ones because I feel it takes a bit more skill to drift with than the hard ones which just make your car slide around with minimal effort

When using hard tires im mostly just turning the car and accelerating/braking but with the soft ones i feel i have to do more to make the car actually initiate the drift. like double clutch shifting and other stuff... i just like to feel cool when doing cool things, such as drifting cool cars around cool tracks y'know.

anyone else drift with comfort soft tires?

I use whatever my car happens to be equipped with at the time. But I can't really be fully counted here as I'm not a pro-drifter. I just mess around with drifting. It is defnitly possible to drift with soft tires, though.

That really depends on what car you use. In a low powered car the softs are harder to get sliding, but in a high powered car the hard tyres is impossible to keep just a little bit in control. I use the tyres that fits the car. If the car has a lot of power or is just generally very tail happy i go for medium or soft if it has little power and a more stable rear i go for the hard tyres.

This.

The soft sucks, 2 corners and you're good for a pit in.
If you can't handle hi powered cars on CH blame your setup or skills because it seems alot of people do just right with them since the release date.
