Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a real-time strategy game and the hypothetical sequel to Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. This game was originally announced in a Command & Conquer newsletter mass-e-mailed by Mark Skaggs, an EA Los Angeles employee originally from Westwood Studios who was responsible for many previous Command & Conquer games, but currently no longer works for the company.

There has been little else mentioned regarding this title from Electronic Arts, although the now defunct Westwood Studios had hinted at this game in the past. Because of an overall lack of information regarding the project's development since the announcement, some speculate that the project has been cancelled, most likely because of Skaggs' absence. Some believe Skaggs may have been fired from Electronic Arts, though the official word is that he is on extended leave to be with his family.

Though Red Alert 3 was never formally announced by Electronic Arts, it has never officially been stated that the project has been canceled or otherwise. It was possible that the game could have been formally announced at 2006's Electronic Entertainment Expo. However, this did not happen, as EA announced Command and Conquer 3 before E3 and was the only Command & Conquer EA showed at E3.

And all other articles are from 2004.
