OK really who thinks we have to many competitions. I mean really this is retarted. It's begining to be really stupid. Topics such as "Designing Things" and "Make me an internet badass" are stupid. And altho they are cool I think the .gif cars are gettting out of hand. Is having 4 competitions for .gif cars really neccessary? I dunno maybe we need to sub devide the competitions(i.e. Photochops Folder, .Gif Folder, Drawing Folder). Maybe I'm the only one noticing this but whatever. Leave your comments and vote.

We've known for a while there are too many comps going on.

We need to make a list of which ones we want to keep, and which ones we should get rid of.
 
This forum is called "Photoshop Competitions ". And though you laugh at it people actualy spend there time on these competitions. I don't think its gettin crowded except for some of the vectored cars. A weekly competition should just be a monthly competition instead I think.

I just think the Gif. art needs to be seperated from trhe Photoshop art. I think there should be a seperate forum for Gif. art. me and some other people brought it up to Jordan, but he hasn't really replied yet. I think calling the gif. cars and manga cars stupid is just ignorant. I know alot of you spend a lot of time on the Photoshop stuff, but we spend an equel amount of time on these cars. If you don't like them, that's cool, just don't be ignorant about it.;)
 
i think that we should keep the weekly abstract, weekly comp, and maybe ONE gif competition. There are a crapload of gif car comps going on and its becoming a nuisance. I have nothing against them because i know that the people that create them spend just as much time as most of us do on the weekly comp. this forum is being, quite literally, spammed by THREADS. There should be some sort of rule where the person has to ask a mod before opening up a thread.
 
The Pixel ("manga" :rolleyes: ) cars should go. No one wants to moderate it, people whine and moan why they can't make an animated .gif, yet they don't allow you to use Photoshop. :dunce:

Keep the Weekly PSC and Abstract PSC. There are some talented artists here and it gives them a place to showcase their work.

lol...this thread is turning out to be more of a scrap hall than something efficient. also, i dont think anyone in here has the right to criticise someone else's idea of "art".
 
The comp forum was ok until the gifs started. I don't think theyre stupid but those comps stand for more than 50% of the threads here.

I think the gif/manga (smallcars whatever) should get a subforum under "photoshop comps".

Yes, this is what should happen. Instead of name calling and finger pointing, There should just be a new subforum created. Wouldn't this make everyone happy? ;)
 
I think that these little fekken gifs are way too overdone and Im nw up to my mother from seeing them not only in the forum, but on avatars all around. ENOUGH. if somepone made decent cars out of them, like the charger on (wow) charger's avatar, or the Pagani someone had, that would be good, but all people do is rice **** and drift crap, and as you should know, all ricers AND drifters should go to hell, so to hell these little cars should go too.

precisely. that aint a bucket of rice and a pile of drift parts. that one is original and well done. its not anoher skyline or japanese import, its not another so-common car of cult over here at GTP like a supra or a skyline, of wich, no matter how awesome they are, Im up to my effin mother. specially when you consider the tipe of honors they receive from the members... "team monkey kids -insert your favorite car here- drifter sim tires blah blah blah" and in the avatar, a SO overdone pic of said car. its just TIRING.

At least it's something new for us to do, not some weekly PSC or Abstract comp. Personally, I think it's a good idea.
If you don't like it, don't whine about it.
 
It seems to me, if the .gif comps were cut down this whole problem would be solved. You dont need to get a whole new sub forum for them because soon after a while, people are just going to lose intrest in it and it will become a big waste of space.

Well if you were to hang around in the gif comps and threads, then you would know that there are a good amount of people interested in them. Gaining more people everday too, I doubt it would die.
 
Giving these pixel art cars a forum to themselves? Are you people crazy? That has to be the stupidest idea I've ever heard here at GTP. I can't begin to imagine how many more threads would pop up as a result of this. All these dip****s making new threads every 10 minutes just because they have their own personal forum now. Plus, who the hell would moderate it? I already feel sorry for the Drifters Only forum mods. :/

Hey, who are you to say what's cool or not. What if these people really like doing these little .gif pictures. Your not the one to judge them. I say that if enough people really like that kind of stuff, why not? You've already got a forum for other graphics. I say don't leave the ms painter's behind just because you don't like it. Stay out of their business if you don't want anything to do with it.

By the way, I think you lost the authority to say that this stuff is "the stupidest idea I've ever heard here at GTP..." by making your "make me an internet badass" thread.

ok i'm done. Nothing personal to you concept, I just don't like your attitude at this point in time.

I do believe that there are way too many contests, it's hard to keep up with all of them, it's very confusing.
 
what could possibly be wrong with the drifters only forum ,its just a style of exibition racing,and gif. art isnt all that bad whats the difference between sitting down and drawing on a peice of paper and sitting dow and drawing on a computer?

Look, in fact, these little pixel art thingy ma things need their own forum. It's popularity has grown immensely in such a short amount of time. If they got their own forum, I think the complaints about all these competitions and pixel cars themselves would let up a bit. "Manga" cars or whatever need their own forum.

Yeah. That's what I think. I'm a weirdo. Don't ya think?
 
This is a Photoshop Compeitition forum. Its for things that use Photoshop. The "gif/manga" cars should have a forum called "Pixel Art Compeitition" or some crap. I didn't mind it when Darin made them but now every freaking ricer and his mother does them and its really stupid. I used to do it before all these little drifter fags started doing it and saying its actually art. Get a life.

What I'm saying is, make a different forum for the manga and gif cars and we'll all be happy.
 
Common really whats the point to your competition RYAN? And yes I have looked in there and read the whole thing. I mean really. You have like 3 different things going on in the damn thing. You said it your self:
Design a new T-shirt, CD cover, or guitar for your favorite band. Go wild, do whatever you want.

I did say they were cool, but I also said that there are too many of them. And you all keep saying this needs a new forum, that needs a new forum, like I stated before I think they all need a new forum.

OMG i hate these damn little gif cars and other useless competitions!!! it takes my 15 minutes to find the dam official psc!!!! -_- stupid manga ppl... there should only be one GTP official "manga" chop thing
