Complaint- Diablo exclusion

I purchased the Lamborghini NOMAD Diablo Gt-1 '00, thinking that I (at the time), a level 13-16 idiot, was going to win the Lamborghini races in the A-spec Professional series, to only find that it was incompatible to the series. Needless to say, I was devastated, just spending all my money FOR THAT SPECIFIC EVENT. I understand that it IS excluded, however, I feel that Gran Turismo should include this into any Lamborghini events in a future update. Are there any arguments against this? Any reasons why a Lamborghini cannot enter a race specifically for Lamborghinis?

Just uploaded it- if you want to see it, add me as a friend via PSN. My name is my account name here.

One is a race car, the others are street cars....Doesnt seem like a fair race to me. besides you can enter the Lambo in gt500 races ( although i'm not 100% sure on that fact.)

Well, sir, I have raced many street cars with racing cars, and my Corvette Racing Model. So, I don't think that Gran Turismo has any problems with letting us use racing and racing model cars against street cars, some of which can easily dispatch a few racing cars.

👍

Above pretty much sums it up. It would be like entering an egg & spoon race with a spade...

And to add on, I believe the Nomad is allowable for the Seasonal GT500 events, but not the A-Spec challenges. Again, don't quote myself on that.

Sorry, but your what?

I sucked. I had just enough CREDITS*, ok?

I just checked. It is acceptable on the GT500 seasonal event, due to the fact that it was "manufactured" in japan. Hmm...

I understand your views. Thank you for your responses. I'm sorry if I hurt any feelings. I get argue-able when I have different views. I prefer to defend my own opinions, or opinions I share.

Ahah

Just do some seasonals and get lots of money and buy a new lambo and move on. Lots of people make mistakes like this. At least you weren't one of the fools who bought one of the formula 1 ferraris expecting to be able to enter it into the formula gran turismo race just to find out its not allowed. Than having just spent 12 million on a useless car have to spend another 5 million on a formula gran turismo. Or someone like myself who bought an extra million dollar ford gt '02 expecting to trade it to find out the trading has now been capped at 1 million.

No need to get in a huff. All I meant was that you will need to race some more in this, a racing game. Earning credits shouldn't be that difficult nowadays either, whether you finish first or not.

Well, it's been a long time since I finished that particular series with money from- you guessed it- seasonals. I'm gonna go beat some Japaneseanese cars in GT500 with afore mentioned car. What is your Psn? I'll add you, but beware! I suck. Lol.

I wasn't in a 'huff'. I was defending myself. Read my apology post.

I remember when I was short on mo'...I made a "smart" decision to buy AMG Mercedes CLK-LM and Audi R10 (didn't check the prize car list)...10mil gone (and that was before these new seasonals which pay a lot).
Took me a good few months to get back on track.

And now I have all cars (all bought, never traded), 99% progress, Platinum trophy and I'm stitting on 20.000.000 for good 3 months.
Ah, the GT Life success.

Plus it's an old JGTC car too...it wasn't built to GT500 regulations, and neither is it a Lambo road car. Hell, we don't even have another Diablo in the game...although I personally use mine as a drift car (don't ask  )

You should have reviewed the list of allowable cars before purchasing a car that isn't allowed.

By the way, what fun is it to use a car that will simply blow away the competition? Buy a Gallardo, a set of sport soft tires, learn to drive it, and enjoy the race. If you're always using cars that wins by a mile you'll get bored of Gran Turismo very quickly because you'll always be racing by yourself. It is actually fun to race with the competition and very rewarding to beat them with an equivalent spec'd car.

I don't think PD thought out much in terms of inclusion/exclusion with race series. They didnt care about "fair play" as some indicated in their response to the OP, when they made the GT500 races. I can enter a street car and win that series of races. Nismo 380 got it done. Also I can enter many street car races with a racecar and vice versa. I believe I can race muscle car with a viper GTSR if im not mistaken so why not the lambo series with a Diablo GT.

Anyway I would have loved a premium Diablo SV, 6.0 or the GT. Shame that it didnt get the nod to be included. I actually prefer it to the Murci.

All your money? Come on, it doesn't cost that much?

Well, sir, the amount I had at the time was just enough to purchase the car. And the racing: soft tires for said car. I don't know if you had a large cache of Cred's but i usually have 500K then I'll buy a couple cars and tune them.

Well, sir, I am not the best driver out there, and I'm only 15, and I'll be getting my drivers permit (hopefully) before this month ends. And I prefer a crushing win rather than a narrow loss, which usually happens to me when I'm playing 'fairly.'

Well, I was playing the game yesterday, and on the seasonal GT500 races, I didn't see any street cars as listed as acceptable.

Well, that is what the 'License Tests' are for. They to teach you how to drive correctly. Gran Turismo can be a very fun game if you learn how to play it properly. Crushing the competition by just using an overpowered car isn't rewarding and gets boring very quickly.

Jesus christ this guy just triple posted. Back on topic, i feel your pain. Gallardos don't cost too much nowadays, you could mod one up a fair bit and it'll still cost less than a Lp-670.

I'm going to complain that the Ferrari 330 P4 isn't included in the Ferrari race along the same lines as the OP....

Really? Somehow in some fashion the OP is missing the point of the game (and the rules of the site).

I love the implication that he "doesn't get the point of the game" (which basically means about as much as "stop having a different opinion from me" in terms of useless rebuttals) somehow makes it so the car isn't glitched in regards to the events it isn't allowed in (which it is, still, even though PD have made it clear that they know it is and just haven't bothered fixing it).

You don't need a racecar to easily win those races. The race car is excluded either by design or as a result of an oversight. Either way, I don't care why. I don't care either way if PD makes the car include either. The whole thing is trivial.

Yes, I understand that, and I just prefer racing. I have only completed 2 licenses. It is not incompetence, I just don't like having to complete said tests.

I have no idea if you are defending me, or attacking me. I stated that I didn't like opinions different from my own, but the people opposing me also used the 'you're an incompetent fool, so change your opinion!' tactic, to which I remained calm, but I used slight sarcasm, which either went unnoticed or ignored. As I'm new to this Forum, I do not know who PD is, will someone tell me who 'they' are?

If you don't like opinions different than your own then this place isn't really for you because everybody will have opinions and when anyone makes statements like that they leave themselves open for criticism.

PD is Polyphony Digital, who is responsible for the Gran Turismo series.
