Very thanks to LutonHatter for the excellent idea and the effort! As friend list was growing, and exchanges increasing, due for the 5 card limit I asked to someone to stop sending cards!

Sure, welcome Duck and Phil03.

I'm half expecting a couple of people to join us from the GiantBomb forums, so Duck I'm sure it would be fine long term for your two mates to join but coud we hold with the current numbers of a week ish so we can get it up and running and teething problems fixed etc.

I'm about to send out initial allocations etc. and details of the shared myGT account, I'll just mark this thread as 'COMPLETE' for now you should all be getting two PMs from me in the next hour or so.

Hello,

We are still in the process of getting up and running, once were a running smoothly we can add more members.

Until then if your not doing anything with your daily limit of sending five museum cards a day, you could 'half join' for want of a better term you can send your swaps to members. Not as a bribe, I'm not going to take a blind bit of notice, then why bother?

Good question, because the more complete each members collection, when looking for who they can send their five cards too they will be more likely to find they can send cards to you once your a member as you have stopped them from being able to send the cards you sent out.
(I've not explained that very well have I? :crazy: )

So if you fancy doing that there is a list of which person if associated with which manufacturer and a link to the myGT page to look up what swaps people need. In the first post.
 
As per the message in the first post of the thread, we are currently have a limited number of slots for new members. So if you are interested in completing your Museum card collection and helping others do the same let us know.

PM me the list of how many of each type you have. E.G. The numbers down the side of the screen in GT5 in my avatar, the Museum Index page.

I can't promise you Audi straight away espically as both you and mixtery asked for Audi, I think which ever of you compete your first set can have it first.

Anyhow send me that PM and I'll start setting all the wheels in motion.

Ok I guess I'm in if there are still any of you wanting to continue to trade Museum Cards. My PSN Id is Codeman5700 add me if you are interested, I have nearly all of the cards down to the last 37, so should be able to send almost any card to anyone who needs them. Will post the cards I need to anyone who replies.
 
We are organizated as a GTP group manteined by lutonhatter, and we don't post here for internal communication, so you can't read anything here but new joining requests. Send a PM to him. A mygranturismo.net account is recommended but optional. He will reply giving you access to our resources, psn ids and rules to exchange cards, without the need to send PMs every time.

I'm interested - I have been randomly gifting my 5 museum cards to my online friends each day in the hope that someone would gift their spare ones in the same way... sadly it does not work like that.

I don't dupe but am happy to send out my spare cards among the group in the hope that we can work together to complete the museum collection :)

Today I found a card in my giftbox.
The card was numbered '147', and was a Nissan Pulsar.
Was also the last card needed to complete

I will predict that I am last to complete the full set. I usually am with these kind of things but that's ok because I guess the process is actually the fun part and makes me look at the cards to learn a little history.

Statistical addicted, you are right.
I guess I'm not going anywhere too. It never was my feeling. You may say I could be ok. Have sent 100 more cards than I received. But I'm happy with this. Other than LH I want to see P9ul and Svardsyn completed. And also new members. It has been a long travel, and I like the community LH created. So, I'll be here until needed.
