they would be playing the ps2 through the moniter. As for the emulator there is no such thing as a PS2 working emulator, there are emulators that play demo games and even those are full of bugs.

Is it possible to hook your PS2 up to the computer because I want to buy a PS2 for my mums house and she won't let me have one in the lounge room.

Welcome to GTP! :) This will be your friend in the future: ;)

lol^^, its the limited edition one from GT3, shoulda made it more clear. o well

im only 13, lol.

hey, first post - I play ps2 on my monitor sometimes because my parents are strict about me playing games...anyways, i have a ypbpr vga box by sagestar, you basically get your monitor and hook it up to the computer through the vga box....this DOES lower the quality of the video because it doesnt go straight from the ps2 to the monitor but through the box...um....it's around or less than 20 dollars i think - bought it a long time ago. It's really easy to use, there's a switch on it and you can run both the computer and ps2 simultaneously, turning the vga box on will have your ps2 (also hooked up to it through a memory card slot - meaning you can only have one memory card in your ps2 while playing on your monitor) show up on hte monitor, whereas flicking it off will immediately bring up your desktop or w/e you have on your comp...hoped this helped.

Umm...right. Anyway...welcome and enjoy your stay.

get a standard a/v capturer for your computer and hook it up
or go easy and buy an all in wonder graphics card by ati
and hook it up with the purple cord with the a/v jacks and go to tv setting and bam your playing on your computer with your ps2

nevermind whatever i said just go buy an all in wonder graphics card and youll figure out in no time if you can color code correctly :p

Capture Card.

Pinnacle PCTV or Pinnacle PCTV Rave. Goes into the computer (PCI Slot) and connect the Yellow RCA into the card. Connect the Audio RCAs to a RCA to headphone jack adapter and connect the adapter into the microphone of the sound card. Run the program and play GT3 on the computer :)

Look for PS2 S-Video cables.

You can link your PS2 to your video card's S-Video In port and ever record best laps or drift sessions.

You can also buy a 5" screen that hooks up to your PS2 and play it that way, just need a plug (i think?) no computer needed then.

Nick:rolleyes:
