Been doing some upgrades and what's not.

Gallery

Specifications:
Core 2 E6600 @ 3.6GHz under water
Asus P5B Deluxe
2GB Crucial Ballistix PC2 8000 running at 800MHz 4-4-4-12 (there was some old RAM in those pictures FYI)
2x74GB Raptors in RAID0
X1900GT under water center 20.1" widescreen LCD
X800GT under water side 19" LCDs
Aerocool case with 250mm side fan (bigger!)

CPU runs about 36C idle / 46 load, so I'm going to try and get it to 4GHz. Completely stable at 3.6 right now though, so that's good.

(The vcore in the picture is incorrect.. It's around 1.45)
:D

Whatchoo think?

I was thinking 'How the hell were you running at that speed on that voltage?' :P

I'm now thinking 1. Maybe sticking with air was a bad choice and 2. I want your rig.

Nice. :sly:👍

The computer is really, really quiet, too. I have all of the fans on the lowest speed they can go. Got some cooling room left. :sly:

Thanks:tup:

Nice. 4GHz should pose no problems if there is so much room left.

Did you overclock with a software, or setting from BIOS? I tried overclocking my P4 2.8GHz Socket 478 a bit wit h ClockGen(I know, sounds odd, but I couldn' resist) and it failed.

Or maybe its because of my processor.

Edit: Er, why does a member called Joel has the exact same screenshot as yours?

Joel, which is my real name as well, is an account I made a long time ago, and because my SN is Joel at other forums, I sometimes have a habit of logging in with that UN/PW and posting without thinking about it.

I used the BIOS to overclock. Lots of fun settings in there.
