My "no wallet" log might be of help to you. See here

Thanks. I had read through it the other day when I saw a link to it in a post somewhere. I am very impressed with your dedication to it...personally, I kind of lost patience a bit and bought a few cars as I am not overly good and struggle to keep control of some cars. Am still trying to do events with gift cars (or at least ones not overpowered) but am also trying to adapt to using cockpit view (as opposed to the chase cam) as well as trying to use no traction control (well, sometimes I have to as I can't control some cars with a DS3 and a wheel is not an option). Mind you, almost all the tuning I have spent on has been for 2 seasonal events (though I did significantly tune the Mito to get into the pp range for one or two events).

........am i not allowed to have an opinion?

Of course you can have an opinion, everyone can. It's where and how you choose to express it that matters. Giving this thread one extra page through childish bickering is not cool. If you all need to vent so badly, utilise private messages in the future.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

I confess, when I first started GT6, I was kind of let down. "Where are all the things from GT5? Why such measly payouts?" I thought.
It was also said in another thread that a game sequel should have everything the prequel had and more, GT6 still doesn't have a lot of the features it should have though.

But, after winning Cr.441,000,000 on a certain lottery (to which I also confess), 6 became more enjoyable. All the cars I had in 5 were now available for me to carry on where I left off and with each addition, 6 is getting better and has passed 5 in terms of quality IMO, just waiting for the features to arrive.

I had a freerun / time attack online session at Brands last night and it was a real blast, even got my heart racing in excitement. I only got this feeling 3 times playing 5 and they were all during races. For it to happen in a freerun is a pretty good sign for me.

So to summarise, I always thought 6 would be good prior to realease. It was released and I was disappointed. Now It's great.

Whats wrong with having the moon missions in the game. Note the last word in the first sentence, game. I though it was pretty cool to have that in there. Great graphics. I just hope you can actually have a on-line race on the moon. How fun would that be?
Yep. It's alot more than driving in a circle for 200-500 laps. It's all about timing your pit stops right, as well as making the correct adjustments to your car at the correct time. Plus i'm sure the NASCAR-haters are players who participated in the ever-so-popular-yet-unrealistic dirty NASCAR lobbies and think you just go full throttle into every corner bumping anyone you can. In proper NASCAR, you're going door-to-door at 180+mph through corners. We're talking like 3 inches apart (if that). One tiny slip-up can ruin the race for a load of drivers, because in real life, all it takes is one crash to destroy your NASCAR.
Those who think NASCAR is all about making left turns has either never seen a NASCAR race, or are just hopping on the Bandwagon Of Bull:censored:.

I'm a massive fan of all motorsports, especially euro-style road racing and in particular Formula 1.

I'm also a huge fan of oval racing and I always find it surprising how many Euro fans don't understand how differently oval races are run in series like Nascar and Indy. The road races are easier to understand for them, obviously, but the whole lead lap concept that's so core to oval racing doesn't exist anywhere else that I'm aware of.

OT: My confession... the same as someone previously. I was so sick of being spun by the AI that I cheated around Le Sarthe at every available opportunity :D
