Hello, my name is s2k2k3, and I'm a Modaholic.

I just can't stay away from the Tuning Shop, no matter how hard I try. I say to myself "I'm going to buy this car and I'm going to use it AS IS! Not even an oil change!" And yet somehow the cursor just goes to the Tuning Shop by it's own force of will. I tell myself "Hey, everybody changes the air filter, right?" But why change the intake side and not balance it with the exhaust? So you have to do the catalytic, right? And you can't get your money's worth from those "little" mods unless you tune the ecu... And the engine deserves to run at peak efficiency, so a little balance job is only right. Right?

And now you have this finely tuned engine you have to tune the suspension and transmission to take advantage, or you've wasted that power.

And I'll admit this resulted in hugely overkilling most of the races in A-spec.

But I've come up with a solution that allows me to get my "fix" and still have a good race. I'm going back through A-spec using the weakest cars I can, highly modded to satisfy my "need". I limit myself to SS tires on street cars.

I'm having a blast getting owned on the straight by faster cars, then slicing and dicing in the corners to get enough of a lead to stay ahead on the next straight.

Most recently I used the RUF 3400S in the supercar race at Nurburg. Not fully modded, but 390hp. Won it by less than a second with that Nardo passing me on almost every straight. I took the lead the last time outbraking him into the chicane.

So I'm having my cake, and eating it too. :D

i have the same now ever since i got the millionaire trophy out the way now i just buy and tune 24/7 (fully tuned samba bus is awesome btw)👍

I run a tuning garage on GTP. I think that makes me the worst one here.

I also like to tune and mod all cars, in fact in real life i try to mod everything to. I dont like stock things, the same with girls. If i meet a girl i wanna make her more sexy and stuff =/.

Hi my name is JJBK and I am a modaholic !

it all started with an underpowered Mitsubishi Mirage. And from there it has gotten slowly worse over time.
My other problem is I like having all of the models of my favorite cars. So at the moment I have 12 EVO's I still need the evo II and III, and the GSR versions, and the MR versions of the VIII and IX and X.

Last night was the worst and it was at that point where I was able to finally admit to myself I am a modaholic, as last night (I am shaking trying to tell you at the moment) Last night I was doing some oil changes as I bought about 10 cars in a row from used lot, and I was doing all the oil. when I started to hear the morning birds. and as I came too, Picked my head off the desk, and wiped the drool off the keyboard I had been out for a few hours, the Sun had came up, and I had a black Acura Integra Type R on my screen!! I swear I have no idea how it got there, I swear:). So after my vision cleared up from the morning blurry ness- rub of the etes, wash the face, at this point I realized I am having trouble. I really need help

Because I keep finding that if I fit the stage 2 turbo then stage 3 to some cars you get more HP!! :P but its only a few, not all of them, and I waste some cash doing this.

I am also a Modaholic, every car I win/buy either gets fully tuned or gets the 4.40p/w ratio treatment, I cant stop...I got the "Looney Toon" trophy within 2 hours of playing when I started. It not my fault, I just never understood the point of racing a slow car that handled like crap...modding makes everything nice and awesome! Isn't that the point!!!

I think I might be a modaholic in denial. But my Minolta and my 908 need that high RPM turbo kit! Honest! And my seasonal event cars need those racing softs and ECU!

I'm a modaholic but a perfectionist. I have this disorder to tune all my cars exactly right for maximum performance with efficiency. This means most of my cars dont get 100% modded, but they all get 100% tuned and this can take a while depending on the vehicle. For instance an R34 Skyline can get crazy HP fully modded, but it will also handle like crap with that kind of power, So I would mod it less and get less HP then the average guy with the same car, then take said car online and blow away the competition. My addiction is modding to perfection lol. I beat my lil bro tonight with my Audi R8V10 and he had his GTR with at least 100 more HP then me, guess who won? Yep yours truly. Its all about efficiency. Got my SLS AMG to 620 HP and it will cleary go over 800hp fully modded, but it doesn't need it. I beat my Audi's lap times with that car.

*Standing up*

Hi, my name is CarBastard and I'm addicted.

*Everyone answers in chorus "Hi CB"*

You should be thankful your addiction to tunning is not as dangerous. You shoule've seen my post about shopping sprees, my addiction costed me 6 Million Credits in a single night!!!

I just don't want to stop. I'm fine with my addicion!!! No rehab for me!!! :dopey:.

Hi, I'm 1241Penguin and I'm a modaholic.

Whenever I buy a car, I say to myself "let's keep it stock". Unfortunately though, like you, I always end up tuning the car before I even drive it. Furthermore, I always end up changing the rims or painting the car as soon as I buy it.

I'm Walter, and I'm a modaholic.

My problem is, I hate to do the mods that you can't "UNDO"...

So I typically try to get two of every car that I mod so I can go all out on one, weight reduction etc... and keep the other one to JUST the things that can be undone.

I keep an XL spreadsheet with Make/Model/Weight/HP-no mods/HP-max mods that I have/Pwr-weight ratio/Pwr-wieght ratio with max mods/Road/Race/Tune/Concept and a few others. I used the Master Car list compiled by Famine (Thanks Famine) and just made all the changes I needed for it to work for me.

When I'm racing online in a 'restrictions' race I can click on the weight column and it organized all the cars I have by weight. Then I can go to the horsepower column and see which cars qualify for usage! I can also select "Race" or otherwise if that is an agreed upon condition as well.

So I have the max modded, mildly modded, etc cars easily selectable! Now I just wish they'd open up the favorite to about 500 cars!! (only 100?)

Cheers!!
Walter

Just ran the Supercar Nurburg in the TVR V8S. It maxxed out at 365hp so it was a very tough fight with the RUF CTR2 and BTR. Won by 0.2 seconds after mucking up the chicane and losing a 1 second lead. What a fun race. :)

I hear you brother. I wish you could see the powere curve when you're deciding whether or not to add a mod. I sometimes buy all 3 turbos just so I can see the power curves.
