Based on the recent TGS2004 event which has unveiled some new tracks I have complied a track list of confirmed and possible tracks.

CONFIRMED tracks are verified by screenshots, video or official info from Polyphony Digital.
POSSIBLE tracks are either shortened versions of confirmed tracks, or tracks included in GT3.

Excellent work S12KS, I’ll be referring to this thread on a regular basis. 👍

Anyone know the difference between Fuji 1980 and Fuji 1990...

I suspect that the 1980 version has the two chicanes cut that you can cheat on in Prologue?!

There IS a GT4 track thread...

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43917

However you missed...

AMALFI (Capri)
El Captain

Those are at first glance...

Amalfi was there (albeit spelt 'Amalfee' - as found by amar212's info in this thread.) How could I forget El Capitan?

I saw that the thread mentioned had it's last post in April and as such was not back up on the 'front page'. However I have now noticed that the original post has been edited since then.

I found this link:
http://www.gdecarli.it/Circuiti/JPN/JPN Fuji.htm

Shows the various track layouts of Fuji Speedway over the last 30 years.

Not exactly sure which version we'll get, but I hope it's this one - 1965 - 1974

New Tracks in GT3

30 - Smokey Mountain ----------------- POSSIBLE

just for the record:
Smokey Mountain North, the current one in GT 3 was known as Smokey Mountain North in GT 2.
Same with Tahiti Circuit, formerly known as Tahiti Dirt Route (don´t remember the correct number, i guess 3).

as for the tacks overall:
i would hate to see that they miss one of the former tracks.
i´d trade photo mode anytime to get the full track count.;)

S13KS, got to think about that there is 2 versions of SSR11, one in GT1 and one in GT3. Mabye something to add to your list?

Is the middle bend sponsored by McDonalds or something?!

C.

lol. I see your point, but I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Emm See Corner, rather than McCorner.👍

I can say that a lot of tension has been released from me. Fuji and Twin ring motegi have been confirmed. Also, those of you that didn't know, Midfield speedway is basically Twin ring motegi, except with one of two corners switched. They based it off TRM. Also noted is the return of a newer, remodeled GVS. Thank you lord!!!!

All I hope for now is a sort of touge (I'm such an initial d dork :D ) and for pikes peak to be confirmed as "in". Keep your fingers crossed.....

Is the Sears Point going to be the Nascrap version or the full road race/scca club version? I hope its the latter, the downhill left hand carousel will be amazing to drive and a PIA to get right.

Updated. Cheers.

Probably unlikely to use that verison though - more likely to use the version in GT3. Cannot be entirely discounted though.

Heres a track list from gran Turismo world

A key phrase for the game, it seems; GT4 features the widest selection of tracks in a Gran Turismo title yet, from beautifully realised real-life racing circuits, city locations and natural environments, to a heap of classic fictional GT tracks. The current total stands at 31, although it's promised that more will be announced at an unspecified later date. Here's the latest list in full

Japanese circuits

Fuji Speedway '80
Fuji Speedway '90
Tsukuba Circuit 2000
Twin Ring Motegi (full course)
Twin Ring Motegi (Oval Track)
Suzuka Circuit (full course)

North American Circuits

Laguna Seca Raceway
Sears Point Raceway

European Circuits

Nurburgring Nordschleife

City Courses

Tokyo R246
Seattle
New York
Hong Kong
Las Vegas Drag Strip
George V Paris
Opera Paris
Cote D'Azur
Special Stage Route 5
Citta di Aria

Nature Courses

Grand Canyon
Swiss Alps
Ice Arena
Grand Valley
Trial Mountain
Midfield Raceway
Snow Lake
High Speed Ring
Amalfee Circuit
Motorsports Land
Tahiti Maze
Autumn Ring

Look out for a more detailed track run-down in a future Gran Turismo World update.

All respects to GranTurismoWorld... but how official can any of their 'official' lists can they be when they miss El Capitan???

I also saw a car list on that site that mentioned Toyota Celica Pikes Peak (Rod Millens record holder) Peugeot 405 T16 (Ari Vatanen Pikes Peak) & Audi Sport Quattro S1 (this also did Pikes Peak...

Those three cars would rock though...

26 - Green Forest Roadway ------------ TBA (Probably not - boring track from GT2)

Great job, only that I personally do not agree with your comment on Green Forest Roadway. I learned to like rally in GT2 on this track, and it became my favorite rally track. It allowed long lovely drifts with the RWD cars.

Yes, they would. Pikes Peak knew many great cars btw. I only hope PD gets their physics right. Hopefully they do not just a guess for it ...
