Congratulations Wales!

For the uninitiated amongst you, Wales won the Six Nations on Saturday - congratulations to them.

They also managed the "Grand Slam" - beating each of the other 5 teams - and the "Triple Crown" (beating the other three home nations - England, Scotland and Ireland).

England had to console themselves with a rubbish win against rubbish Italy and the Calcutta Cup on Saturday (the annual England-Scotland game).


On the upside, there's now a lot of Welshman wandering around with empty nutsacks.

Rugby.

Wales did excel themselves. I watched many of the matches and i was most impressed. England didn't play badly, but weren't winning material.

I take it you're talking about that guy who bet that Wales wouldn't beat England and cut off his testicles when they won...?

I too watched the vast majority of the Six Nations, including the triple header on Saturday... Wales thoroughly deserve their Grand Slam, and I wholly disagree with Martin Corry who wrote in the Guardian on Saturday that this year's standard of competition was inferior to previous years... on the contrary, I think the way Wales performed was first class throughout the tournament...

Well obviously he'd say that in a year England didnt win. It just means they got thumped by "inferior teams" too.
