Connect PC to PS2 via Firewire?

Just got a bright idea. I have a 1394 card here, firewire cable, and a ps2. Is there any program that will let me tranfer memory card files from and to my ps2 via the firewire cable?

Keyboard, mouse, headphone peripherals....

Also I have read that you could play XBox games that aren't live enabled, ie Halo, and hook the xbox and pc together and play thru a portal of some sort. PS2, not to sure of. Sorry for all the sentence fragments

through the firewire, nope, not at all. Through the USB, there *might* be one possible using Pukklink (you need a chip). If you have an ethernet adapter and a mod chip, there are programs out there to do that.

the code is all homebrew by people that just hacked ps2 so, you will have to use @ ur own risk

Yeah, that is true, I play Halo online using Gamespy Tunnel on occasion. It's a bit of an akward solution, though. the other problem is that the hosts almost always cheat by cranking up their handicaps.
