Show us all your set up now we've got support for third party second screen apps. Here's mine so far, and I will be adding my phone as a motec style dash just above the wheel base there when I get a mount for it. My rig is 100% home made. I'll post more pics later on, as you can't see much of the rig from this angle. :D

That's exactly how I'll set up my phone when I get a mount. The base of the CSR is tiny, so I can't prop the phone up on it like you can, so I gotta get a bloody mount for it. Nice to see you're also running Pcars dash on both devices. Home made rigs ftw mate, best way to go! 👍

Yep, if you can afford them...the RAM mounts are the best way to go. Here is my 7" cheapo tablet (again, $35 on Amazon) w/ the RAM mount ---- in fact the mount/components cost more than the tablet itself.

It sits about 2" in front of my steering wheel, doesn't cover any of the monitor and can be tapped easily while driving (Dashmeter lets you set-up three screens of material which you can tap through whilst driving)

You can't see it, but mine is attached via a RAM mount suction cup which has a twist bezel. This attaches to a long arm, and in turn to a spring-mounted grabber mount for smaller tablets. I just place it on the desk, twist the suction cup = done.

PS: My DSD button box is attached via another RAM mount similar to the poster above, with an arm, mounted to my wheel stand....basically RAM mounts all around for super solid/perfect mounting.

sounds so stupid but i mounted a thin lego peice with glue to the little plastic strip that can come off the top of the base. then i built the blocks higher untill it was at the right height then glued the phone case to the lego tower

hahaha fair enough. Engineering masterpiece!

I had mine mounted to a suction cup on the screen but it left a mark on the screens pixels. (it dissapeared eventually).
I Couldnt get the suction cup to suck to the top of the t500 base and need a solution. I'll take what youve done on board and experiment

How about a small cell-phone kickstand thing (the kind you use when you want to watch movies on your phone...regardless of how stupid that is) and some heavy velcro? Attach one side velcro to the top of the wheel, other side to the kickstand...should be quick and easy/cheap.

Not sure about others. But i have my T500 set to dish a fair bit of force..
i reckon id hit the walls on the other side of the house with the phone lol.

Ive got a Samsung Tablet. I ordered a mount for it off ebay and shoukd receive that soon.

For me. Mounting on the wheel base may not be an option
