does anybody wear contacts or glasses and if so are they prescription or cosmetic?

me personaly i wear contacts that are amethyst(a purple gold mixture) for prescription and because i want to show my laker pride.

anybody else out there? im sure there has to be somebody out there with all these people frying their eyes from constant gtp exposure:lol:

i wear lame ass glasses, they suck, and my parents wont let met get contacts, they think i would forget to take them out at night.

trust me when i say if you forget that night, youre gonna remember it for a few days as mine seem to stick to my eyes and are dry and itchy as hell

ughh

besides.....its kinda hard to go to sleep with somethiing in your eyes. unless the damm things are SUPER COMFORTABLE

Contacts for me. Good enough.

At $90 a year, they should be.

The reason why their so cheap was because I wanted the 2 week ones. And I usually wear them up to a month and a half.

Good ol' geekish glasses for me.

I don't really see a need for contacts for myself. I mean I don't really play any vigorus sports that my glasses are going to fly off.

Although, Curling can get pretty ugly sometimes. With the rocks flying, and the brooms swingin'. Yep.

I wear contacts. My dad works for a contact lens company so I get them for free, but I'm not sure I'd bother if I had to pay for them. I had glasses before and the only time I ever used them is if I was reading a book with small text for a long period of time. I could go find my perscription, but I don't really feel like it. All I know is that I have an astigmatism (sp?).

I wore contacts for one day. Total BS. Not for me.

Were they uncomfortable or was it just the hassle of putting them in your eyes and taking care of them that you didn't like?

I'm just curious because when I first got contacts, I hated them. They were uncomfortable as all hell and I'd get headaches after 20 minutes of wearing them. Then I switched to a different set of lenses and I love them now.
