Today, I was playing some MW2 with some friends of mine. After they left I decided to play some GT5, but neither of my Sony controllers worked. The X/Square/Triangle/O buttons don't do anything. I tried both if my Sony controllers, then tried my logitech controller and it worked fine. But I hate my logitech controller, too big. I tried reseting the PS3, reseting settings, even.banging the controller against the wall, neither work. Anyone had these problems, or preferably advice to fix them? It confuses me because both don't work, if one didn't work I would just think something broke in that one, but it's both!

Didn't work. I tried another "Sony" one although this is a gold knockoff but it didn't work like the other two real Sonys. The logitech works fine. It's wierd they were all working fine less than an hour ago.

....banging the controller against the wall

:lol::lol: I found out long ago that this has adverse effects on getting your controller to work. On my old controller, up didn't work well on my left analog stick. One day playing Madden I was caught from like 20 yards behind and tackled before I could score for the win as time ran out and flung my controller across the room in a fit of rage. Needless to say, I had to spend another $60 for a new one afterwards.

I think it's something to do with the sixaxis of the controllers or system. The logitech is not sixaxis, the other 3 are.

Check and see if the controller you want to use has the controller number 1 light lit on top of it.

Yes it was. Every other controll on them works except triangle square O and X. I can turn honk the horn and all of that. Just not accelerate or brake. Two things that are just a little bit important in GT5.
