Convertible Tops

Just curious as I was looking through pictures. I have driven the California in the rain with the top down (maybe practice mode), and just saw a race pic with it up. I think the S2000 tops might be down some of the time too. I assume it's just the premiums that may actually have this, but do we have any control over whether the top is up or down? Is the a setting for it? Or is it just dependent on the track? Just wondering what others have noticed

I believe if you put a rear wing on it will also put the top on

I think only the California has it down. i don't know why.

It should be an option.

At least one of the miatas are top down as well. Also the kubbelwagen, but that's a different animal.

I think you have to put a spoiler on a convertible to put its top up.

Ok cool, the pic with the top up did have a spoiler on it. Just making sure I wasn't missing an option, but it's probably putting on a spoiler that does it.

The premium MB SL55 changes too.. at the dealership it has the top down, but when you race it, it has the top up!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an option in GT4 to have the top up or down in PhotoMode or something?

They had the option to choose whether you had the top up or down in GT4. I can remember using it in the Peugeot 206 CC.

I have the Plymouth Prowler, which is not only a standard convertible but also features it's own interior. It's strange because the game has so many miata convertibles that are constantly crowding the used lot, and yet the producers didn't include an actual option for the convertible top.
