I want to preserve the audio quality from a DVD I have, so naturally I want it to be in .wav format. Now, if I choose DTS, can I manage to get the audio into .wav format then? For some reason my computer says my audiocard doesn't support DTS, yet my 10+ year old reciever can decode it...
If I can't convert from DTS to .wav, can I convert Dolby 5.1 to .wav? I demuxed the audio from the video, but now I have 2 files for the audio. One has 2 channels, the other has 3, I think.
If I can't convert either of these formats, I guess I'd have to go to the lowest quality on the DVD (Dolby Surround[2 channels])
