Win the silver arrow mercedes contest in amatuer mode, win the CLK touring car, soup it up, reoil and wasH it, and doo all this,


Spring rate and ride height should be at there lowest, the front down force should be low and rear should be high.


while racing at speeds of 20+ the car should grind because it is so low.

at speeds of 200+ the front end lifts and the arse sinks into the ground, it goes just as fast as the escudo.

wait, set the gear ration all the way to the right too!
 
This car is one of the best looking, but thats it. I don't find that this car is all that fast nor does it handle very good. Other cars are better for the same thing. RACING!!
 
hey i saw the arse sink into the ground, i know that it went 600 mph+_i saw the front end lift up, the handling is good, better than the escudo, i would post a pic but i do not understand how to do it.

the thing is i cannot get a hold of a camera yet, i left it in the car and my father took it to work, But i gaurantee the CLK does what i said it does, it is not a lie, it is not a BS lie, parden my french, hey i can speak french. hehehehe

Oh no my fine feathered friend. Make no mistake about it, the CLK touring car is a RACE car. It is hideously fast, and can be made to handle like a dream. ASM and TCS neuter this beast, but it is BAD ASS

Lets see some numbers for the settings and I give it a try. I did lower it some and it works better. But I think there are other cars in the game that are better with little effort of tuning. Better for newbies just starting out.
 
dont you just love when n00bs come in here, thinking they found a huge secret, but in face just about every gamer out there knows about it? har har har good stuff...:D
 
yeah, i know. I mean, let's see, what do you think is gonna happen if you lower the car all the way and add downforce or whatever to the rear? is it gonna fly? no, it is gonna bottom out, common sense
 
the D2 technik CLK touring car is one bad ass benz!!!! I raced it in arcade wit my friend against my astra touring car and i smoked his ass!!!!

One thing.....

the CLK-GTR would have been the best addition to GT3!!!

umm ok...maybe not the best...but one of em'!!!
 
Ghostrider, Carpocalypse isn't lying about the car's speed. If set like the Escudo it can go pretty damn fast but nowhere near as fast as the Escudo. I'd send everyone in here a picture of the car doing it but I just don't have the stuff to do that yet. You don't have to believe me though.
 
robarge_1, Its not that I don't believe what people say, I do believe them. I wanted to show some pictures so others will believe them too. If other people want me to post pictures for them just let me know..
 
I wish I could send some pictures because the Gillet Vertigo can do it as well but Threat doesn't seem to believe anyone. There's a few cars in here that can do the wheelie trick without the 1,000+ hp. As long as the car can go that speed it can do the trick. Of course weight and few other thing's are involved too but other cars are capable of doing it. Perhaps you can try it and post it for them? I'll see what I can do too but I don't have the equipment to do it as of right now. If you'd like to know the other cars that can do this let me know. It's really not important to the game I know but it's fun as hell to do for me!!:cheers:
