Don't you think in 2.03 replays could be saved and copied to your videos tab on the XMB and copied to your PC to upload it to youtube? Not everyones parents thinks PVRs are good use.. And expensive too.

GT5 replays aren't videos.

This would be a very major undertaking for PD to implement, and since they had to remove it from the game before launch it might not be possible at all.

Theres already a 'copy option' for replays that are just 500KBz and don't even work, and i doubt no one doesn't want this..

As Toronado said, they aren't videos. That's why they "don't work". Exporting is mostly used to send your replay to others with the game so they can watch it, in-game.

It's surely a most-wanted option, and it should be possible (numerous other games offer something similar), but whether or not it's a concern for GT5 or if it will be saved for the next installment (or later) is up to PD.

True.. Hold up, you can send replays to friends, -facepalm-

i cant see why it was so hard to implement it though a few games already do, just cause 2 being one of them.

Yeah it's doubtful we'll ever get the upload to youtube feature back, but atleast pd could try and make sharing replays with friends a bit easier. Now you have to copy the files on to an usb drive, copy it to your computer, send it to your friend and then he/she has to do the same at the other end.

Would it be a hard undertaking to make a share with friends -feature work with the replays similarily to how it works with photos?

I have a pvr myself, if someone is in dire need of a video PM me and let's discuss it (has to be PAL though).

I have PAL :)

The only reason why I think there are never going to put the youtube uploader is because the rendering process would take FOREVER! I render videos all the time and I only have 4gb of ram which would mean it would probably take 11mins to render in 720p
The PS3 only has 512mb in RAM ( correct me if Im wrong)! That would take at least 30mins or higher I think for it to render in 720p

Isn't it possible to upload a GT5 video to a PC if one has a graphics capture card installed into the PS3?

As everyone else said, the files are only instructions so the game itself can read into a replay. Therefore anyone who wants to view it must have a copy of GT5.

I didn't even know you could install a capture card in a PS3. I use a HD PVR.

Yea, that's how most GT5 and video game videos are made.
