A quick check reveals the C60 was 5mph faster down the straights at Daytona.

Only after I took half the bloody wing off it.

I was running 600 DF at Daytona.

Anyway I quick test at Willow and a 1:00.1.

It might ultimately have been faster at the top end but its extra weight and lack of power means it gets destroyed in acceleration between 3rd and 6th gear.

The ballast does help you play with the balance more, the weight here is just perfect.

Race pace for me is a 1:01.4 now. The thing is really gentle with the Zovo settings(cheers).


EDIT: Turns out my test car has finally hit the dust and lost some HP, could mean the thing has more in it.

I have a question to ask everyone who drives the Sunday races, the Sunday race was designed to suit the Australian and American drivers but since the Australian drivers are in the saturday race, is everyone ok with moving the Sunday race an hour earlier so that it doesn't run stupidly late for us European drivers

I don't mind.

I run in ToCA on alternate weekends to the WEC but the new season hasn't started yet. Running WGTC to fill my Saturdays up on alternate weekends for now.

To answer my own question, I only run in this series and the fun cup, reason for it as I'm sure any series owner will know it's a huge undertaking to run a series successfully and have a life in the real world, and the fun cup just because I love touring car style racing and often myself and @jonnyb1990 last wec season while testing would end up driving touring car style in lmp cars haha

I'm also down to only the WEC and the Fun Cup at the moment. Used to participate in Makeshift shuffles and the VCRC vintage & low power races organized by Watermelonpunch but haven't in a while because of time constraints. ^^
