I'm kinda interested in this. If the times are doable, I'd definitely like to participate. I would just need to decide if I want to do this in LMP with The Audi R18 or GT with the BMW M3 (Which I feel should be the LMS car instead of the N24 car).


Also, Find it abit weird that the Peogeot 908 Base model isn't a choice. Kinda think maybe it (or the Audi R10) should replace the Bentley Speed 8 and then you have a complete, semi-modern LMP class, but that's just me.

trust me when I say you won't be able to compete with the R18 the car has speed but only for one stint and the rest of the race is junk.
 
Love the sudden audio cuts ^^

That Corvette looks tasty. I know that was stalliono's favourite.. but someone else will probably take it before us anyway. :P

I'll be brutally honest with you, I love seeing those yellow Beamers at every round. At least keep that paint!

Really? I never thought it was bad. Bummer if that's true as for me (mostly because of my hate for the R10 in GT5), I loved the R18. Guess I might have to consider the 908s then for LMP

Hey mate I'm not exactly sure if you know how this series works... I'll leave it to a CORE official to explain it to you though.

Just read the OP and I think I see what you mean. Guess I'll have to do some things before I even consider entering.

Like redbull said, that is not how this works. We all ready have two Peugeots so you can't pick that. Only car available in LMP is the Audi. Audi isn't as far off as they make it sound though.. same pace but you have to work for it much more.

In GTE there are some cars free, RX-7s I think but that might change when this corvette situation is solved.

So that basically leaves me with the Audi for LMP then since I don't have the other cars that aren't taken.
 
The 908 Base Model was a choice I believe but the 908 is full now anyway. The only cars left are the Speed 8 and the R18 at the moment.

Actually how many team spots to we have anyway? I believe the cap was 15 teams.
 
@RACECAR there is a possibility that you can form a team with @MC CAULEY as he intends to start in May, i think this will be your best chance at forming a team in LMP, you will not be allowed to run on your own as its not that kind of deal here, if thats something you want to do then send @MC CAULEY a PM and see what he says.

@WIDFO is your team interested in taking the Vette?

Ok then, I can do that no problem.
 
Without the tire glitch while in offline mode, I ran a 01:10.230 with average lap times being in the high 1:10s to mid 1:11s. I think I'm on the right track but 'good enough' won't be enough on this level, that's been proven already.

From last nights online session I did a 1:10.5 on qualifiers and a 1:12.0 on race tyres.

I'm mid 13s to mid 14s on race tires so I still need some work there. I feel that the car has a little under steer in some of the high speed corners. It just doesn't want to turn in when I want it to.
 
interesting my car is really good in high speed but a little oversteery in low speed turns nd I was doing about the same times as redbull last time I practiced.

1:11.2 with tyre glitch but I'm sure there's a tenth or two left in that lap.

Still really confusing with the different meanings of tyre glitch (pre or post pitstop..). Maybe we should just say pre or post pitstop instead or race/quali tyres? ^^ guessing this was post/race tyres though. :P
 
I love that Corvette. I hope we can get it. I actually put the full tally on my partner to decide. So if we can get it. It's totally up to him.
