if your team mate agrees to it and we have a live stream coverage of the race then you can message your team mate no problem but no one will be allowed into the lobby that is not part of a. the driver line up b. part of the coverage team
oh ok yeah no I wouldn't come into the room in the middle of the race and tell him to do something that would just be distracting to everyone else. In fact it is kind of annoying when someone joins the room in the middle of a race because the chat box pops up and it may cause someone to miss there mark.

@memto89 I had an issue as I was expecting a free track so my foot was right on the accelerator and I ran into redbullrider, which surely cost him and me some valuable seconds in qualifying... It was pretty much my fault, but I'd prefer to qualify alone.
If there are more drivers who are ok with this, I'll go along, but from my side it's not a good idea.

Didn't notice any lag in quali no, was pretty surprised by it being together though, probably should have warned us about that. ;) I think this type of qualifying could work well if everyone knows it in advance, and i'm guessing you're doing it for it to be more realistic than running all on your own so i'm ok with it.

Quick question to everyone on the saturday race, was there any issues with the qualifying with everyone together? not issues like being blocked but was there any lag issues?

That style of quli was what was originally meant to happen but due to a few lag incidents it didn't happen, but if there were no issues then i would like to keep the all together qualifying
I had no issue with blocking, incidents etc etc and preferred it as I would rather see a car ahead, rather that annoying blue lines everywhere, but I think some warning would have helped, as then people would have expected it. The only other issue I noticed, although I think most sorted it out, but the LMP's starting in among the GTE car's could cause issues, but then we could cure that with a rule:

When qualifying starts, no one should be foot to the floor, LMP car's are to line up on the left of the track and GTE's to the right, then the LMP's should make their way off for qualifying in track order, the GTE car's must wait for the last LMP to pass and then start their qualifying laps in order.

Yeah you should nerf the Fords because I can't drive as fast as RS and Caine. :p
Well.... that's just rude!

I think GTE is pretty well balanced. I think the Ford is the fastest car, but from my experience it has higher wear rates than the others.

It really showed at Brands, Mike being able to do about 30 laps on the softs, I was only able to do 17 before I started to loose too much time.

Also, I had no issue with everyone there in quali, but I prefer racing alone. But from a livestream point of view, everyone together is more realistic.

LMP drivers please make a note of this

There will be a slight spec change for the LMP classes after receiving enough data from the races. It has become clear that the 908's can hold their tyres a lot longer than all other cars while retaining the speed (i am aware of who is driving them for race 1 and that has been factored in) but it is clear that a few minor changes will be needed to bring all cars into the spec

908 709BHP at 950KG
Bentley 719BHP at 930KG
Audi 729BHP at 900KG
Hybride 700BHP at 970 KG

This is not in answer to the dominance of the 908 as that is fair racing and no one can deny that the drivers are very good, this is trying to balance out the tyre deg issues with the other cars.

This may happen to GTE as well if enough consistent data is gathered!
I think there should be some power limits ( let's say 30bhp less ) for rs and Caine just to make race equal ;)

Tyre wear seems to depend a lot on set up and driving style.. Widfo seems to be doing exceptionally well on his tyres in the ford for example. :P

And Adrian only did 22 compared to my 27.

Either Saturdays or Sundays so on either 24/25th. You choose when you want to race(discuss dates first, don't make your teammate go for a slot he can't make).

So this pretty much. Just in case you didn't notice.

It is not just in this series that the tyres wear well. I take part in two other series and my tyres last at least 25% longer than anyone else. I spend a Large amount of time testing and the results show. Just ask my teammates now and in the past. It makes the car a bit slower but more predictable and on average it is faster. I am not very fast so don't use me as a measure. :D

At the start of the season everyone had the opportunity to test the cars. The Ford we got was the sixth cab off the rank. It is strange that now there is suggestions of limiting cars.

It will be a very sad day when hard work, practice and dedication gets rewarded with a weight and/or power penalty.

If this is the way it is to go, then make all the cars available to everyone. It will settle the issue once and for all.

I don't think the specs apply to the #79 car as it's a different year then the #1. Ask @memto89 to see if it's allowed, I'm not 100% certain.
as far as i know they are both identical cars, it is the '11 car that was specced though so if you can both use that, that would be lovely

You wouldn't like our championship then! Must admit though, success ballast does blow championships wide open!

I think the pace of me + RS is spurred on by the fact neither of us want to loose to the other! We are very closely matched pace wise.. I just tend to start races a lap down and end up chasing my way back through!

No I wasn't serious about limiting the fords either. I was just trying to be funny.. making caine and RS cars slower because i can't drive as fast would be ridiculous. ^^

I am impressed by how good you are at keeping your tires fresh however.

Good race in lobby 2. I do have to say that I was super annoyed at having finally spent time practicing a track only to have to switch cars the day before. I never did get the
At Vette to the pace I'd worked to get the BMW. Hope I can dedicate as much time to Monza.

Yeah you guys could probably have taken the Corvette but still driven the BMW in this race since it was so late. I think you'll be pretty satisfied with the Corvette when you get to grips with it though. Really satisfied with my switch from BMW to Corvette. :P (although Monza would probably be one of the best BMW tracks so not a very well timed switch.. but it will pay off eventually).
