Yeah that was a fantastic race! Had no trouble at all with the traffic today and after some practise today I finally got a little bit more consistent. In the race I made nearly no mistakes for much of the race, in the end I got a bit tired and did some mistakes, really thought I would lose third when I saw Armada passing me but apparently I had lapped him without noticing, so finished in third and that is really the maximum I could accomplish with my pace today. :)

everyone who is getting ready for race 2 PLEASE REMEMBER that the UK has just gone into BST so the lobby will open in 9 hours from now and spec check will be 9 hours 40 mins

I noticed in the chat of the livestream that @adam46 mentioned that he was planning to take time off but will still be involved with CORE, I'm not sure if it's true but it's a shame to hear. :nervous:

yea he's withdrawn from competitive racing to focus more on the reporting sides of things

Jonny have driven in so many different teams now that he will probably feel like a champion no matter who wins. :p

That's my plan, if I drive for all the teams one of them will be champion at the end ;)

Just having a glace through the livestream now, great coverage even if the frame rate is a little juddery. Not that he needs the head swelling but what a move on Memto into the final corner for 2nd @Ninners =)

Must say arguably the best moment in the race was when me and Immortal were going side by side down the pit straight whilst lapping P1K3Y(must have been scary when that happened) and I somehow got the undercut for T1 whilst being much slower at the time.

Yeah there will be a broadcast, I haven't got the link right now but I'm sure they'll post it when it starts. :)

Sorry, room 2. Today just wasn't my race. I'm usually content to run last all race, but a headache meant I really just didn't want to stay on track. Neither did my car.

had to park it after 50 something laps cuz I'd had enough fun for the day, led the race early but the tires just ran out. Happy to be done with the R18 it had speed but chewed tires too much and was unpredictable under braking.

P.S. also, I'd like to give cudose to the GT drivers for the bit of race I was driving you guys were prety good about being aware of the LMP's position

@adrianhettich @Chozza_32

Interview time, guys!

PM me.

If you cannot make it tonight, I am available from 5PM though until 9PM tomorrow.
This applies to everyone, if you want to be interviewed, PM me and let me know. :)

Please take Adam up on this as more interviews means more point of views and more coverage of the race

And more coverage means more for the audience. In turn, the audience will grow. By the end of the season, you could be a part of something rather large and well known in the GT community... :)

Well raced by everyone this weekend, from what I saw it was all very tight clean racing and the livestreams, review and interviews all looked great; don't think I've ever seen coverage like that of a normal race series on GT =)

On another note, I think I've quite successfully proved that I don't have the skill/enough sleep to jump into a car for the first time 2h before the green, so I'll ask that if teams want to use me as a reserve, please ask me by Monday night of a race week so I can turn some laps in time =)

Congratulations again to all, especially @Chozza_32, your first WEC win?

My first "win" in an LMP at least. Not that its done our overall classification much good.

Well overall classification doesn't really matter anymore you killed out there. Winning in General has to a huge confidence booster.

Not really mate because I kept hitting GT cars, 5 times i ran into WIDFO because of lag, and i hit another couple in racing incident, obviously matt will decide if they were my fault, which they probably were because i always get the blame for them.
What was the fastest lap from race 1?
