I dont know about you... But i certainly would LOVE to get paid to my psn account and participate during an online race... Just for driver etiquette... I truly would tell the truth and would kick those that cut corners... Or even record up to 30 seconds for proof of how idiotic the driver really was being, and let PD or other major companies decide how long to ban that player from online services... Even though its been 9 months, we still have that small percentage of races that will stoop to low levels to win... I hate it when i host an endurance race in my lobby on nur 24 hour, la sarthe or sazuka just to find out that the driver won a 35 lap race in 5 some odd min. only because he glitched...

Reason why I do not race in random rooms. Look for a clean race group, many are around this forum. Online gaming has and always will have these types ruining it for others, it's just part of the game, unfortunately.

Also, people can get paid to ref races? I am confused!

Problem is the track, not the driver. You can't ban a player for doing something the game allows you to do.
I think you are looking a impossible solution for the wrong problem.
PD is working on fixing glitches.
And you will not get paid for being the law force... XD

Not saying i am, because you cant... But i would certainly like to... Even if its like $3.50 an hour thats being transferred into my psn account... REAL currency us just too far, i wouldnt even want that

Well the fact that it just completely ruins the driving/racing experiance for the track... Actualy i dont even feel like racing at all during the day it happens.. But since the track is like that and it "lets" you do it with no consiquences gives you the right and makes it all ok? Bs.. There certainy is drivers etiquette, why ruin it for others? Are you that useless where you actually go out of your way during the day jumping from room to room, to ruin the race that an entire full 16 participant list is looking forward to during the week? Seriously? =\

If i had a full group like that i would be running in lounges not open lobbies. That way no randoms could come in and ruin it. It does suck to lose to a cheater but this world has enough wanna be lawmen now, I dont need them in my games too.

If we could get more than 16 players in a room, having course marshals would be a great addition to online play. Just as an option for those who organize private leagues, not as a policing agent for the entire network.

Not saying we NEED It, it would just help sometimes, but you do serve a purposefull point in the lounges...

Thank you for not taking my post as being rude. Workin on my first coffee ;)

Just because you can, doesnt mean you should.

?

Yes, he can. AND the problem is "the driver".

In real life theres no "invisible walls", so you can't cut corners to reach the finish line faster, and hope that you will not be disqualified by the race directors...

Problem is the track AND the driver. Taking advantage of obviously unfair exploits in competition is generally against most games' terms of use as well, so you probably could ban people.

The problems are the desire for casual players and the excessive cost of policing(and documenting).

Trust me, I don't like glitchers. And I had never used glitches, duping, etc in the game.
And I'm a fair player, clean in the track, and kind in the chat.
But I think it's unfair to ban a player for doing something the game allows you to do. Just this.
We both are agree in the problem. But not in the solution. I think your solution is just a mental fart. And this don't entitles you to call me "useless". Seriosly.

I think most of you didn't understand what I mean. If PD fixes the glitches, and this is what PD is doing, we have the problem solved. Do you really think we need a marshall? (Just imagine a lammer being marshall XDDD) We just need fixin glitches and good penalty system for dirty racers and cuters, they also can ruin your race. (Hope PD is working on it too, don't know).

The "uselessness" was NOT directed towards you in any way shape our form, i was regarding tha to those of you that do do it. And no i have only glitched once during the ssr7. But i found it boring, if i was to get to lvl 40 im going to do it the way the game intended. But just because they can, gives them the right that they should? I can lie myself into getting a free 2L of pop when ordering pizza because i can say the pizza was cold and they owe me a pop, but i don't its just proper etiquette that we run by... Hopefully im getting this point across to you, and i said it would be fun, not something im going to base the game on... Just to help get rid of the garbage racers that necessitate todoing so. Just a thought brought onto gtplanet

Yes. Just because they can, they have the right to do it. (I'm not saying i like it, just is what we got.)
There is not any law to ban them from PSN, or from GT5 servers at moment. (Maybe you can read again all the entire text we all accepted to join PSN)

GT5 also allows you to crash every car you found in your way, and nobody can ban you for being a "bulldozer" (you have the right to be a dirty driver) . This becames you in a lammer. And is the same situation with glitches.
There's just one solution: Making it impossible to do it...

Anyway, if you're the host, you can kick players, and view the race. Here's you marshall option....

Well quite frankly im sick and tired of having to go to spectate and TELL the host who's acting and racing with redundant behaviour... Especially when they say "oh its ok he's a good friend" or "no i dont believe you i have to see it for myself in free run", then they dont do it but then they DO do it in race and i rage quit with the leaving quote of "i told you so"... Its just such an amazing waste of time MOST of the time and i thought that i should share to see how many replies i would get with mutual or atleast similiar feelings...
