What sets gt series from other games are the corners, if you abserve carefully the tracks you will realise that the corners are mad in such a way, that they will impose a challenge on the driver.
so after all said and done what are the best corners in gt3, based on personall experience, which ones you think are tricky, and how to attack them, and wich ones are simply plain stupid and boring!!
to me personally the best corners are at tahiti circuits ;) , and the stupid and boring ones are 4 and all of them are at super speedway  .
but the most notorious one is the corck screw at laguna seca, you love to hate, if you make it right you glorify yourself :D , but if you mess it up you will cuss the living daylights out of it 😈

The blue tunnel at SS11 is a real bi-atch and whole tokyo is a bi-atch when you drive 4 the first time ;)

Such beautiful words. Well said!

There are those few corners in the middle of SS5 that really get me going. When you can hit them at full throttle and just avoid grazing the cement walls, you know you're getting better. And the other cool part is when you're moving so fast that it looks like you're flying the trenches on the Death Star in an X-Wing (:

I also like the corners at Deep Forest. They're fun at max throttle as well, but if you mess up coming on to the big strait on the backside of the track ... you're tossed into the wall of granit rock.

good idea for a thread!
anyway, my favorite corners are at cote d'azur, the little part that sticks out on theback stretch. the last u-turn followed by that little peice that sticks out are ,my favorites when I do them right.
I also love the uphill s-turn in Apricot hill, loads of fun to pull off right.
The one I hate is the first one on the gt-40 s-liscense test. I HATE that one.

Oh let us not forget that chicane at Cote d' Azur! My trick? SLOW DOWN! lol
Heh, we tied with that one.

Yeah, that's what that wall is for :D In real life you should probably be able to go straight there (they took away, or there never was any, the wall for safety reasons I suppose).

The best is Monaco the u turn on the down hill, and corck screw at laguna, There really arnt any turns that are to tricky if you get the approatch down. Great post!! :car:

i guess you guys know what i mean, and how about the last corner in deep forest, cut too soon and you'r on the grass, take in late and you'r hanging on the wall.
and beleive me when you tackell the first few corners right you now yourself that you are on a hot lap, but then comes the corckscrew
am i mentioning that corner too much :D
weell it's because of the not so hot lap that i did.
i'm telling you , i had the escudo pikes peak, iwas ripping through the corners, sparks where every where, even i was impressed with me, . and then it came, it was sitting there waiting for me, the corckscrew.
i was overwhelmed by my spotless driving that i shot myself in the foot, i attaked that corner from the outside, and everybody knows that if there is one corner you'r not supposed to enter from the outside, it would be the corckscrew. and the car went flying off the curb, and the last thing i remember was collecting sixth place on the last lap in an endurance race, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 😈 :yell::yell::yell: :yell: :yell: :yell: :yell: :yell: :yell: :yell: :yell:

it's an enduuroooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was half awake when i realised that it was the last lap and i was leading, i wanted to do a hot lap to break the record but i guess i ended up breaking my lead and my joystick!!!

I"ve never used the Escudo in any tire wear races, well the Speedway once. How often did ya have to change tires?

I like the corner on Leguna Seca before the corkscrew. It is a real challenge to do that corner at fullspeed with brand new super-slicks on your 787b.

The corners at Test Course are soooooooo boring!
It makes you

it depends on the way you drive, how much braking you do, and the way you use you'r gears ;) , for me it's all about sliding power sliding to be exact :D .
so i tend to give the gears a workout, on top of that i brake while applying gas, they call this technique in real life left foot braking, it maintain momentum in the car while at the same time slowing down  :D
but if you drive, flow the line style, out-in-out, or in-ou-in and brake wisely you should preserve you'r tires on the escudo up to lap15 or 16 :D

I feel your pain......been there..happened to me a couple days after the game came out...running the course well, started day-dreaming, and got fancy in an easy turn...I think was Apricot, and blew it..

I say those freaky U-turn bend things in tahti maze they are good when you tackle them at the right time but if you fail you end up hitting the corner i tell ya its a damn shame the best corner I missed was that evil and I mean EVIL shackane on the gt1 verson of special stage route 11 that one were you went under a tunnel and then from noware it appear I could do the first bit but if I was an FR car say a viper my car I would put on the power to try and sqeeze through the last bit of the corner but instead end up crashing out or to prevent this slow down I could do it with and evo or a gto (3000gt) cause 4wd is the best :)

I love the middle section of Deep Forest, after the two sharp right hand corners you get the s bends going into an uphill section. Get that right in a car with a tendancy to oversteer and you get the tail moving so nicely!

didnt i give you corner envy by doing that old SS11 chickane in TVRs and Vipers flat out? in GT1 without any back end movement. heh

But it has to be the laguna Seca corkscrew. Brake hard cut over the curb on the left then mash the accrelerator down (not too hard) then brake like a maniac as the corner tightens up.

My favorite corner in the whole game would have to be the Corkscrew @ Laguna Seca... but the one corner i hate is probably the first turn on SS11 in reverse or even that entire track in reverse. Mainly becuz you dont expect to have to slow down and you hit the inner wall and if someone is behind you, you get hit and its a double whammy(especially during that race in the Vitz pro series).

I have got nothing but bad things to say about that lousy tunnel section in SSR11 in GT1. Ugh - that thing gave me nightmares.

My favorite corner is on Trial Mountain - Actually, Trial Mountain is by far my favorite track. Right after the long straight down the back of the track, there's an easy right, easy left and then a hard right.... 'tis a beautiful thing to go flyin' full tilt through, full opposite lock and just drift through the last of the 3 corners.

lol - I'm just grinning again thinkin' about it. hehehe

The corkscrew is awesome at Laguna Seca. That last sharp left before the finish line there is a joyful turn to make

Hmm, I like SS5 much better than SS11. I didn't like SS11 in GT2 all that much. I can't really remember it right now, but I hate to see it. That is just like seeing Cote D Azur and SS11 now in a series. Sooooo long.........
