In case you didn't already know... I was browsing through the Stealth edition cars in my garage (I have the signature edition), and I spotted the McLaren F1. I had been thinking of buying the premium one from the dealership, so I thought I'd take it for a spin.

Checking over the car settings it dawned on me that the Stealth McLaren F1 is actaully a different car. Its not merely a premium McLaren F1 with a skin on it, like the other Stealths (Nissan GTR, NSX, R10, 787B), it is actually a race modified version of the car available in the Dealership. The same is true of the SLS Stealth Edition, which is also a race modifed version of the standard SLS!

It's like finding gold in the grass!!! 👍

So do they come with roll cage and race cockpit?

If not, they're just the normal car with upgrades.

And, the stealth SLS is heavier than a fully tuned normal SLS.

That doesn't make "stealth cars" RM'd cars. RM cars are normal cars that can have the Racing modification made to them so there is still 15.

I actually have an inkling that all the stealth models have a bit more pep in them than usual, but maybe thats just me...

17) volkswagen golf iv gti rm '01

why?

The Stealth SLS has 40/65 max downforce and the Stealth McLaren F1 has 50/70 downforce. I think this is more than what a normal SLS and F1 are capable of, so in a way they're like RM'd cars, but by definition, they're not.

I do it for my Bob.It's same ~70hp but it's damn cool! :sly: Yeah and there is already 17...

Mine's got 136 Bhp and weighs 590 kilos, drives completely different from a fully tuned regular Cappuccino and yes it looks great (mine's GSX-R yellow), in fact it's one of the better looking RM cars in my opinion.
A pocket sized race car, a shame you can't race mod the AZ-1 Autozam to have a mid-engined competitor.

Mine is fully tuned as well, painted bright orange. Unbelievable fun.

My has been painted matte pink and I raced it online too.

It was the coolest looking thing on track.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who painted it Matte Pink. Wife thinks it's an ugly color, but I think it fits the car perfectly.

i cant believe that out of 1000 (read : a THOUSAND) cars only 17 can be RM...i mean...is a random liverie editor so hard? not even a custom liverie maker but..just you know..some liveries to choose from would be nice...

i mean give at me at least some freaking racing stripes..but no

oh well..

The camaro '10 RM is more or less just the same car with fancy decals... I'm glad pd didn't go overboard with slapping decals on cars and calling them race mods.

My Stealth F1 is still my favorite car. You can whip the thing around any track quickly and have a ton of fun doing it. I got it well under a minute on the High Speed Ring, and I'm not a terribly good driver.

The stealth cars aren't just re-skinned premiums.
I haven't got my PS3 to hand so I can't give all the details right now, but for example: The standard R10 has 699bhp vs the stealth @825bhp (no oil change on either) and the 787b has 805bhp (after oil change) vs 880bhp on the stealth.
There are other differences I'm sure. I just haven't bothered to look yet.

Stealth SLS has less power and are hevyer than the stock one if both are fully upgraded... But its still quicker...
