Corrupt game files

Has anyone ever come across game files on their memory cards that have been corrupted and will not load again? If so, have you found a way to fix them so you can use them again and not have to restart a game all over again. As my N4S: Most Wanted game file is corrupt, and I really don't want to have to redo it all again.

There is no recovery program built in the ps2 sadly. Guess your going to have to start again.

You can't recover em once they're corrupted. I know how yah feel I dun it wit GT4, Madden and NFSU.

Ha! I got a Jade Cocoon 2 file that went corrupt YEARS ago. It won't delete, and it takes up 701kb of space. My brother had a corrupt Madden file, but his deleted with no problem.
