Pit / Fuel Strategy

Use power/lean 4/6 for the first 3 laps; pit on 3rd lap, change to rain tires as needed; pit again on 5th or 6th lap (rain depending). Update 1.2 made it required to pit 3 times because of tire degradation.

It's a lot easier to just buy the Redbull Jr for 350k, buy a set of intermediate rain tires and go race. I run first lap on fuel trim 1 to pass most of the cars and go to fuel trim 3 or 4 for the rest of the race. No need for pit. stop unless it rains, even if you have to pit you should easily be over a minute ahead at end of race.

Tune 1 was perfection. Do you have any tune for any car on Sardinia? Thank you

hey friend! i tried your 1.1 and i think it's very good in the dry but when the track gets a little bit wet the car has a lot of spin and it looses traction.i hope you can improve it,thanks for the tune.

Crazy how life can change in a decade
I’ve just used the setting for Tune 1.1 on the mclaren F1 ‘94 and it handles great

hey friend! i tried your 1.1 and i think it's very good in the dry but when the track gets a little bit wet the car has a lot of spin and it looses traction.i hope you can improve it,thanks for the tune.
Updated the first post for a better rain tune. It's a little worse in dry conditions but handles so much better in the rain

Updated for update 1.20. They nerfed the tire wear rate for the Corvette so you have to pit 3 times now :c
I haven’t used that car for that race, because I don’t understand why anyone would use a Gr4 car, but have you tried pushing the tire wear? Yes, the rate is up, but you really don’t notice a degradation in performance till the very end of their wear. It really hasn’t effected my strategy. I still pit at the same rate.

Sorry, how would I go about improving the tire wear, tune wise? Camber and Toe?

What are the FM settings? And give max laps for best setting. Thank you
On my tunes that I post I give the maximum laps that can be done on a full tank , at Sarthe is best to be able to get at least 3 laps on a tank because that is when most will put in to the pits in the race.
I set my tunes to go for the fuel savings over the power, I usually win by 45+ seconds because of pit strategy.
