Cote d' Azur and the Lightweights

I'll look into that. For cars that do not reach high speeds nor quickly, it does sound ridiculous for them to be crashing into walls easily and slowly.

I'm to busy racing to pay attention to the AI driving like their drunk. The one on the London event really annoys me though, everytime I'm on a good race he spins and blocks up the road.

Yeah, that race is great - I think I've run it about six times with different Elises and it can get pretty hectic during that first lap - the good thing is, it isn't the same each time either...

I have actually noticed the kind of drunken AI behaviour in this race, and while it is fun, it can be annoying too, I have the experience

Yeah I've noticed this too, it's hilarious! You can go from last position to first on the first lap because of that...

I used the AI's stupidity to win this race in my barely modified Lotus Elise '96. 3 cars up ahead of me crashed: 1 at the chicane, one spun out two corners before the last hairpin and another smashed into the wall at the last corner. The AI does not like Cote d'Azur...

Because this event is so easy I ran it in a stock AC Cobra (lightened to make weight) and sport hard tires. Great fun.

Then I tried it at London. Still fun but I couldn't catch the leading Elise in 5 tries. Switched to sport mediums and won by a mile. After running so many laps on sport hards the sport mediums felt like they had magic grip.

True. Seems like they hate it. But I still found it heart attack inducing turning into the corner at high speed to be confronted by an AI facing the wrong direction with another parked across the road in a ball of smoke.

AI with tuned Elises on comfort softs sure makes for some interesting races. I found the Casino corner (left-right after the uphill) to be the worst. Everytime the AI goes round he gets totally sideways in the first left, then tank-slap into the wall on the right hander. Makes me chuccle everytime

I absolutly loved teh lightweights. The only qualifying car i had available was my McLaren MP4 thingy-ma-bob which i tuned using i think RKMs tune. it was fully upgraded and i just restricted engine down to accepted PP and its amazing. was whizzing round track. I normally hate Cote d'azure but really glad i tested teh Maccy out restricted. by far my favorite car for the course.

The Mt Aso race also had AI crashing - the last hill before the finish line will launch any car not hitting the angle right that's coming in too fast.
