YES! 👍 Mine needed ONLY a tyre swap! ...O.G. :D
YES!

I really don't like upgrading my race cars.

That was my trick: I won 1000 Km of Fuji and Nissan R92CP; that beauty can beat all car of GT4, except F1 cars. For the tuning, don't touch brakes power!!!

The GT-One is slow in comparison i found, go for the minolta from el capitan. Major slaughterage,

yep, go for it, thats how i won it and although it is hard, just keep practising hong kong in city courses, youll eventually get the hang of it 👍

oh yeah, also dont tune up your inolta, just get decent tyres that will last you the race

I did it with the Audi R8 this past weekend. The difference:
- B-Spec skill
- Turbo mod
- Super-hard tires at the back, Medium on front
- resist pitting in the last stages if u can - put me comfortably in front in all but 1 race

how the HELL did you beat the LM cars in the Gran Turismo World Championships in the Professional Hall? a stupid Audi R8 LM keeps putting 1-2min on me each race and the Toyota GT-One keeps putting 30-40 seconds on me :(

in comparison, i'm using a Nissan 350Z Concept LM edition w/ stage 4 turbo and have gone as far as dumping in a 70 shot nitrous kit :( i didn't want to, but there was no way for me to beat those guys w/o it...and even with it, i'm being dropped by the above mentioned times :(

There is no way that you could beat those 900 hp monster cars with 350z concept LM. I'd suppose that you beat the El Captain 200 mile race and took the race with the prize car Toyota Minolta or if you want to do it the hard way then buy a DTM race car and beat the deutsche touring car meischterschafte or what the hell is it and you'll get Mercedes clk gtr race car which is not a very competitive car even after you've bought turbos on it or you can always sell it and get 743,000 cr.

Or wait 694 days and buy a second hand Nissan R92CP at the Used Cars showroom 👍

Prices are from PAL version on days 694-700
Nissan R390 Race Car - 2,924 millions
Toyota GT-one race car - 2,924 millions
Mazda 787B race car - 1,225 millions
Nissan R92CP race car - 1,225 millions

a 787B or a Nissan for 1'225'000 you can't get a better deal !
Mazda got 801cv ot 790hp after oil change

I must say that as many here I just can't drive those race cars right I just don't get the braking points and perfect lines I'm too used to road cars and need to seriousely learn them in Special Licenses :guilty:

Do the El Captain 200 Miles endurance race and get the TOYOYTA 88C-V Race Car (MINOLTA) '89. Its quite good at most things, stage 4 turbo, over 1000bhp.

The easiest car to use without Driving Aids for me was Mazda 787B with a set of race tires. It took a while to figure out pit/tire strategies for Opera Paris and Hong Kong but I won both last weekend. Very easy car to control, won the other races really easily.

I used front Soft and rear Medium, softened the springs a little, lowered the compression by more than half the original value, and increased the auto value on the transmission a little. Everything else was stock. Avoid driving over the tall, steep kurbings, run over everything else and run a steady pace.

My main competitor was either the Toyota Minolta 88cv or the Sauber C9. An R92cp was a pain in the ass for a few laps.

Oh hell!

I managed to win 6 out of the 10 races in that awesome championship, and with a stock GT ONE, no less. I surprised myself...

On the last circuit, I was only 2 points ahead of 2nd place, so I just had to win!
And I did! That was the best close-call I got in GT ever! This game is da best.

Now that I think about it, I could've bought the 787B for 3,500,000 and come out better...

I just did it! Was really fun! and i A-SCPED it all the way. this is no B-SPEC race! So much more fun to drive it urself. I used the "MINOLTA" And it was Easy! So u others! practice if u can't win it.

Am for some reason am stuck in the professional hall with everything conpleted in gold except the gt championship which it will not let me in. i definately have golds in all of the races. Can anyone offer me an opinion on why it will not let me into the gt championship. thank you in advance.

no one has mentioned the monstrous car the toyota 7 race car which you can get by doing missions 25-29 (handles like a dream and super fast) also you can enter it in the races which require 4000mm or less length!

Double check the Beginner Hall too. I missed a race that I skipped early on and didn't catch it until I couldnt get into the championship either.

I placed 6th in Hong Kong with my Minolta, yet still won the championship. So just do as good as you can on that track and move to the next one quickly to get rid of that god awful Hong Kong course.

Hong Kong is all about your gearbox. Even the first close one is better than using the full tranny and not taking advantage of setting it to close...The factory one is just way too far apart to compete IMO.. just throwing something else out there since everyone advised tires and suspension setups.. tranny goes a long way and is usually the first thing i do to a car after tires/brakes. I try to beat out other problems before i approach the tug of war battle known as full-mod suspension.

350Z Race Car???!!!

Don't use that car...I can agree there...I used an R92CP Race Car :)
But like everyone else says...try another car...those cars you're racing are full blown racing cars...
"You have to know your opponent before you can beat him"

To end this stupid discussions about the GT World Championhip I've got two solutions:

1.Buy or win any LMP or C-class car
2.Ever heard of the Search button?

yeah all of beginner is done too. this is really frusterating me. ny other ideas?

ok, go to endurance races and do El Capitan, and then when u have the minolta put a turbo on it and get street/racing hard tyres, and then hopefully you will win it, anyway thats how i did it....
Ditto, but you don't need the turbo. Put medium racing tires on the front and hard racing tires on the rear and you're good to go.

I have adjusted my gearbox for better acceleration, that's not really the problem, just I can never take any of the corners well.

hi all, new here. i'm glad to see somebody "trying" to race a supposedly unwinning car. to go against the flow may i say that the Nissan 350Z Concept LM edition is a fast car and it is what i used to beat all the other fast cars such as the minoltas and bmw v12. the key here is "correct gear ratio". raising the ratio a bit to the 17s- 19s would make your car fast. but after that its really all about driving well and holding your line. and before a race always qualify to measure if the ratio you used was good enough as compared to the opponents laptimes. and oh always pit in the when your supposed to pit. i do it midrace. the other fast cars also wears out their tires fast. regards to all here.

I did it with the Mercedes CLK Race Car -- took me the batter part of 3 solid days of practicing and racing each course, but I got it done with that one.

I tried hard to compete using the CLK race car but I could only get the bronze on the tighter courses like Tokyo and kept losing simply because I could't get the car setup correctly where I could put up decent lap times without burning the tires off. So I went and did the B-spec DTM trick and saved up 4.5 mill for the Audi r8, which could compete without any problems. It was much faster overall for me in that series (and in general).

Get a Toyota Minolta Race Car! Worked for me, but got 3rd/4th in a couple of races.

You could try to win the Gran Turismo from Nurburgring 24 hrs

(what I'm doing right now, it sucks :yuck: 👎

save up and buy the audi r8, b spec the nurburgring 24 hours, get the f1 car and b spec the gtwc (yeah im feeling lazy!)

What's the car that's giving you the best challenge (for the GTWC)?

In another words, which car gives you the most A-Spec pts / race for the GTWC?

yea i justed the Audi R8 Race Car it worked pretty well ..well sometimes..lol

You'll need it eventually, so why not get it sooner rather than later?
