I hope this is the right place for this post but I wanted everyones opinion on this.

To me b- spec seems empty. I love the idea of it but it seems to me like wasted potential.
Take your bob for instance. Sure he gains experience and levels up but he is lacking personality. Other then the and the sliders for aggressive or cool, (which don't seem to make any noticeable difference) every bob is the same.

The least they could do was make the bobs learn.
Maybe get him to gain experience depending on what car he drove. Eg. FF, FR, MR, and so on. Thus he is better in those kinds of cars.
Or even something basic as his age added to the aggressive/cool bar so when he is young he is aggressive and takes more chances and when he gets older he is more reserved and experienced.

These are just some, what I think are minor and basic things that would bring some life into our bob's, because as they are now they seem to be just drones.

What do you think? If b-spec got some more personality, would you feel more inclined to play it?

I would play B-spec once Bob learns to overtake when told to, and doesn't politely wait behind other cars.

It was way better in GT4, you didn't have a separate B-spec mode, yet you could switch with the Bobs during long endurance races.

I Know but in the b spec forum there are people who like b spec. I want to see if there was anything that could be changed that would interest the none b spec players.

I know what you mean. Although it is a marked improvement over GT4 B spec i feel there is no shortage of things they could do to improve B spec to make it more involving.

I think an RPG style xp system would work well with properties for overtaking, pressure, defensive driving etc all increasing as it happens the race. That way there will be fun and reward in close races with the driver learning more. A feature which would also be nice for the future is for the AI to learn off you, emulating your own driving lines. Such behaviour is frequently implemented in chess sims and the relative principal is only marginally more complex. Just think what could be achieved if game companies were half as passionate about their AI as they were about the graphics

You are talking about B spec, therefore it goes in the B spec forum. How difficult is that for people to understand? 💡

But we have threads there already you could use instead of creating another one.
