I found this thread in the GT6 Online Series forum, but, it appears the gentleman that stood up that method has moved on and it's no longer available.

I've google searched the subject and what I've found so far is the html based timers over at timeanddate.com and some BBcode over at forummate.com. I have no idea how to imbed the html code in a post and when I tried using the bbcode it didn't work.

Is there a way to display some sort of countdown timer in a post?

This was discussed in another thread, but I'll answer you anyways.
Go to http://****************/ set the day and time. Near the settings there is a link, copy that and paste it in the "image" function on GTP.

EDIT:

What happened?

I'm testing and changing site functionality which does have the side effect of breaking dynamic images and countdown timers, so as of right now there is no way to embed these directly and you will have to link to them instead.

@EF12345678 The tool you linked to actually has an issue which can significantly impact site performance, so I've blocked the domain to prevent it from being used.

Ok. Thanks Jordan. It's just eye candy, really, so not that big of a deal. I've done without it up to now so...

Thanks for trying to help him, with the thread I started, I noticed that I couldn't get to it either to see if it had been answered. 👍 Glad people like @Dragonwhisky also are curious it'd be a great tool to use for various things we do on the forum if and when @Jordan can get it working.
