Keep it Macedonia.
If it needs to be changed name it Republic of Macedonia as this is its official title.

My parents are Macedonian and you would think that the name would bother me do no end but it doesn't.

The United Nations acknowledging the Greek position admitted this new republic with the temporary name ``Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M)'' and currently negotiations are taking place in order to settle this issue.

Recently, the Clinton administration has issued a directive to use the name ``Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M)'' when referring to this new republic.

'' It became a member of the United Nations in 1993 but, as a result of a dispute with Greece over its name, it was admitted under the provisional reference of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia,[8][9] sometimes abbreviated as FYROM.[10]''

So what can be learned of this? Simple. FYROM was a temporary name.

No it was not! They are called F.Y.R.O.M everywhere, except perhaps from those that want to simplify things up and just call them Macedonia, for reasons they only know!Take the time and search-read something about this country short history and you'll understand why they shouldn't under any circumstances be called Macedonia, which is the reason I first posted here....This is their name:
The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia

Then why is it official name Republika Makedonija/Republic Macedonia?

Ah, found the answer. Greece, where you come from, calls the country FYROM. But in Greek.

Okay, the flag is an image, and next to the image, you can type whatever you want. Let's not get too hung up on what the exact title of the nation is called, which is ultimately located in the drop-down menu.
