Speaking of Texas... we had a visitor in town today near the Capitol:
It's the replacement for the Space Shuttle, the Orion MPCV. Took the kids to see it this morning. It was quite a scene. Several astronauts, as well as NASA and Lockheed Martin dignitaries were there to discuss the new space mission program. I guess they finally figured out that they had it right the first time and have gone back to a capsule design... albeit larger and far more advanced.
It's going to be a long time before the US goes into space again. Thanks Obama for cancelling the Constellation program. That's another topic though for another day. I haven't been to Austin in too long. I miss the disc golf (Pease Park FTW) and Lavaca St. Bar.
Anyway, I'll get around to sending some gear tomorrow at about 5pm.
