Crash!!! Shoulda Known Better?

At the end of a National A race the PS3 froze... completely!? No choice but to eject the disc and restart the console.

Only the beginning? Same result after finishing the race for the second time?

After a second restart, I noticed the tunes and pages were screwy. Here we go...

The standard '89 300zx I had purchased for rwd events had become unselectable and undrivable. I don't want to go back to GameStop.

Shut down and take a frustrated break.

Total redu... game data and saves deleted and start from scratch.

CRASH!!! Two races into National B.

Back to GameStop. Not interested in being a 21st century crash test dummy.

Phase two after your rage quit: yellow light of death for your ps3.

Phase three: New ps3, discover it's NOT the game after all.

Fortunately, it's not the PS3. it works fine, otherwise.

My tech man suggests the new.way to troubleshoot programming is to release software in "Beta" form and let the call centers handle the problem children.

This disc is going back first chance I get.

Mine won't play when it gets to Toscana International B license final test. Hangs on the splash screen and only way is to quit the game which then crashes the PS3 sends error report to Sony then has to rebuild system on restart.
 
GT6 crashed at least 3 times for me yesterday- its happened on a race finish, on exiting the game, and on starting the game. All required hard restart followed by the automatic file system rebuild or whatever that is called. My PS3 is an almost brand new slim (maybe 20 hours of use on it), never had issues with GT5 on this unit.
 
Everytime I enter pit road at Daytona I get stuck and the only way to get out is hit the PS button and my system shuts down and reboots.
Going to try with my other account tonight and see if it is Disc/PS3 or Account related, either way it is very annoying and makes figuring fuel mileage impossible.
