Craziest eBay auction ever?!

Not even close to the craziest since it's not an Island, or a Town.

But that's a decent setup.

Given that:
  • it's relatively short auction time
  • the user has sold nothing before and only recently signed up at ebay
  • there's no reserve
  • he wants his money within 24 hours of the auction closing
I would not be the least bit surprised if he just knocked over an electronics store and is trying to unload his loot as quickly as he can (despite saying that it's merchandise from a store closing). I see no other reason for selling these items as a group, I think they'd make more selling everything off individually if they truly are trying to get out of debt.

(forgive me for being a skeptic, but I always second-guess the circumstances that allow people to put up deals like this on ebay)

That, and the fact that he's giving away an iPod Video seems a bit odd. And there's the MacBook (with cash drawer!) included too...

EDIT: The bidder ID's seem strange too.

But, the PS3s haven't even been released in the UK yet...

Then it 'fell' out the back of a delivery van. ;)

Not as crazy as the Australian fellow selling his life. That was ganuinely cool.

So what'd I miss? The items seem to be invalid now.

Pretty much, this was one big auction that had a 42" Sharp HDTV, a used Macbook, a new PS3 and X360, an iPod, tons of games for both consoles, and more.
