I just raced in a 3 car race on the new Expert Suzuka Event (700PP) and came second. I got 45,000 credits after the race!!! This is crazy!!! Anyone else noticed this?

On Suzuka you get 50.000 on first place:crazy:

On the rest you get 45.000... Still alot

dammit, I want to get home and have a go on the updated races, was the elise competitive at this PP level, or was there a different car that was the winner?

I think the larger prize money is a big improvement. It makes the online races not so bad when you get bumped out of 1st place into 3rd. At least you still win 20 or so grand.

35 grand :D

And also, the GT-R is the car you'll see the most

Is this also in the not online events?

I would also like to know the answer to this question, money raising in single player is a painstaking process so I'm hoping they may have raised the prices to make it easier.

Unless that is they want to encourage more online racing rather than single player...:scared:

It is also a way to keep the host from quitting so often if there is still a chance of earning decent money.

Sadly, I wish that was the case! I just started three 16-man races at Suzuka, and each time before my car even crossed the start line the guy quit! Three sodding times in a row! :grumpy:

Yer, there are some sore losers out there.

I think these extra credits will come in very handy, especcially so that I don't have to keep doing that stupid A-8 challenge.

I can't stop laughing today, I have been a very heavy user of the 111R but it's no match anymore. I then tried the GT-R and it feels like I play with all aids on!! It's like in slow motion as well :-)

Well, now the grid is:

GT-R
GT-R
GT-R
Lancer Evo IX/ Tuned
GT-R
GT-R
R8
GT-R
GT-R
GT-R
GT-R
F430
GT-R
F40

And so on:lol:

I did notice quite a few guys just parking up in some races and waiting for the cash to roll in LOL can be anoying but far less anoying than quiters which seems less previlant now. As for the GT-R it's far less dominant than the 111Rs and with a little tuning you can reel them in with quite a few cars, they are a little comatozed handling wise though LOL

i prefer it this way lol, made saving up for the ford gt test car easy. the thing i don't like about the new system is that i can't drive the subaru impreza or 350z anymore...although i did race the 350z aroound HSR with 660pp and won the race againsst all the lotus's at 700pp. won by one second.

I have done that quite a bit when im busy with something else. just lodge the controller against something so the brake stays on, park in grass and wait.

I was one of those parkers last night too, be it only one race, I was pointed out to be hosting the game (HSR it was around 18.00 GMT+1), the race was started and "BANG" my little one year old decided to not only practice his walking skills, but also his diving skills, he ended up bashing his head on the table and bounced further onto the ground, seeing it happen, I actualy managed to park the car next to the wall to the left (next to the pit) and just stood there all race long.
My reward, a wapping 6,000 credits, just for driving a few hundred meters and standing there.

Yeah I noticed the parkers last night, but its a nice earner. I struggled initially to get used to the extra power of all the cars. Getting the power down clean in the F430 was hard work. The GT-R which I also tried was nice and quick but was very hard to stop it pushing through the corners. I havent even had a stab at the F40 yet, though I think it will be fun with a wheel controller! I did notice that the EVO-X seemed to be running away with most of the races - I don't own one of those yet, but I am hoping that it won't be the new Elise (incidentallly, isn't it great to be able to significantly outdrag them now!)

I had a few near last finishes and a couple of podiums. In all I earned about 400,000 credits last night. I might even buy the F2007 later this week, hell I'll buy every car soon with this kind of earning potential.

I found the Elise wasnt too bad compared to the competition, i did fall out with some IT and FR players, they didnt seem to like being overtaken.

I will have to give the GT-R and Tuned Evo a go later on tonight.
