Yeah, money seems a bit off to me, unless there are tight rules around it. Its hard enough keeping track of troop count, let alone money.

great news. I am requesting that Italy and Greece join Alpenland. In return I will send $500,000,000 to each country for supplies (I am down to $47 Billion now) to prove of this trust between us. does Italy and Greece accept?

Italy and Greece both think that the sum is too little - they want it doubled.

Meanwhile, Croatia and Slovenia have been taken by Oktoberfest and UEEN. There was easy surrender in both countries, however there were lots of casualties within the UEEN due to the unexpected Slovenian readiness and resistance initially. 2k men lost for oktoberfest, and 17k for UEEN.

Madagascar wishes that Malawi and Zambia join it so they can benefit from trade links to Australia as well as Madagascar's advanced technologies in energy and the joint project developing advanced radar systems as well as future developments in both countries.

Well, since Ven0m resigned and handed over his territories to Quackjack, I believe that I have control of New Mexico (since the enemy would have likely withdrew).

Of my 300,000 troops attacking New Mexico, 150,000 will stay behind. However, now is my perfect opportunity to stretch from the Pacific to the Gulf. Sorry to say, Quackjack, but... I declare war upon the United Southern States.

I am discussing terms with the Mexicans if they want to support me in my invasion of the state of Texas. We must stretch from sea to shining sea if we are to become the world's next superpower.

Military Distribution:

California: 200,000.
Arizona: 150,000.
Nevada: 100,000.
Oregon: 100,000.
Utah: 150,000.
New Mexico: 150,000
Border Troops: 600,000.
Washington invaders: 126,750.
Idaho invaders: 126,750.
Texas invaders: 550,000

Total number of troops: 2,253,500.
 
Well, I will offer anyone access to my advanced GeoThermal technology to anyone who joins me in defending QuackJack. I am sending half of all my military to defend the USS.
 
I'll give a majority of my weaponry - Tanks, helicopters, jet fighters, IFVs, stealth bombers/fighters, etc. included - if anyone can assist me in taking Texas. I will need at least 100,000 soldiers to help in the offensive.

As well, I would like to hire 100,000 mercenaries from Madagascar. I will offer $250,000,000 for some of these guys - and only to help me take Texas. Afterwards, your men can return home.
 
Guys, could you please slow down a bit? It was on page 8 this morning. On weekdays, I can't be on the computer a majority of the day. If anyone ever attacks my country while I'm at school, that means is pretty much lose right away.

We'll try to, but there happen to be so many opportunities for attacking, planning, etc., so it's quite hard to keep this at a slow pace with so many things that can happen at once.

The weekends should be interesting, however, seeing as most of us will have time to make moves.

I am not attacking Otakaland, I'm attacking Texas - a territory of the United Southern States. If I misunderstood what you said, I know that you don't want me to attack out of the blue when you can't do anything. I respect that, as it keeps us on even ground.

I fully understood what you were doing. I was just posting it so that people were aware of my situation. It was bugging me all day.

Madagascar politely turns down this offer as it sees this war as an unprovoked act of aggression and not a just war.

650,000 soldiers will be invading Texas, with 100,000 being mercenaries from New Jahgeeia (who will help in the invasion of Texas, and be relieved afterwards).

After hiring mercenaries, my funds are now $48,250,000,000.
 
Seeing how fast things are moving, I invest 500m in underground bunkers and another 3B in ICBM defense research. Current funds: 46.5B

Another thing. All this buying countries is just ridiculous. Nobody seems to be keeping track of their money, and 'investing money in the economy' is just using money to make money, effectively getting you infinite money, do you could supposedly buy all the countries. :/ The money seems dumb to me.
 
Maybe everyone should get GDP for every year (two real-life days), and have that added to our treasuries depending on our default GDP divided by population.

Maybe "investment" in the economy could increase your GDP by a small amount, allowing you to make money while not getting a crapload of money.

And military spending can be used to develop defenses to defend against "super-weapons" such as nukes whenever they become available, and for fortifications in order to increase military power in a region, making that region more difficult to take. Also, you could spend money to replenish your army and give it more troops.

There are tons of ideas that can make this game better. Not saying it's bad, just that some things are useless or confusing.
