Create a race feature

One of my wish-lists for GT4 would be for a "create a race" feature, whereby you could choose which car (out of those purchased so far), which track, and how many laps you wish to race (up to say 99 like GT2), along with choosing the opposition cars as well!

In GT2 you could do all of the above but you couldn't choose your own opposition, this would be really cool. It's a shame that the option of choosing amount of laps was missing in GT3!

Who thinks this would be a great idea?
 
Set limits as well for car weight and maximum Bhp ect, that would be great, especially for onlin races.

My post in your other thread wasn't meant to be hostile (if I'm included in that). It was more to do with people believing everything they're told.

This is an excellent idea. GT2 sort of had it, but wasn't quite there. If it's setup by the game progamming, then that won't take into account every drivers differing abilities. If we could chose the opposition, then that would give us better races. This should only be available after you've completed the game, or as something that doesn't count towards 100%, as you could just give yourself easy opposition in order to complete it.
 
Thanks for your comments daan. I think that at a very minimum, the option to choose arcade lengths would be nice, but if they did do a full create a race feature then I agree that it should not count towards the 100% for the reasons you stated.

Nope I wasn't including you...lol..... What the "devil" says with regard to any wishes not changing anything is probably true. All too often the main fans wishes are ignored.

This isn't always the case. I'm a snooker fan (yawn - don't worry I aint gonna harp on about that here), but the point I was going to make is that I successfully, after much e-mailing, forum posts, and petitions, managed to get Codemasters/Blade Interactive to include full length matches in one of their games!

So some developers do listen...sometimes...lol

Don't worry guys - I'm not offended that easily!:D ;)

you can change the laps in arcade mode i think its only in 2p though it's in options.
 
Yeah - is only 2 player in GT3. I'd like it to be there in Single Player in GT4. This way, those that love long races can have them, and those that dont can stick to 2 or 3 laps.

Surely this pleases everyone!:)
