Create Thumbnail? What does it do? (GT5 Garage)

What does that option in GT Life Garage do? I cannot figure it out...

Sometimes when you gift a car or just random the small picture in your garage disappears.
Use this function to create the thumbnail missing.

It dose just what it says. Creats a thumbnail image of your car. There are times when the icon for you car my dissapear for some reason. This brings it back

ohh right thats good cuz i'm missing them on some of my cars...

It becomes a hassle though, when for instance you have to reinstall the GT5 game data.

Mine corrupted a couple of weeks ago, and I found that most of the cars in my garage had no thumbnails... Twenty minutes later they were all updated, but what a ball ache!

Come on PD, how about a global create thumbnail button, that updates ALL thumbnails at once!

sometimes i lost the thumbnail's when i'm duping the car... the system thinks i have sent the car but it's still in my garage... it happened to my X2010's...

It's for when you paint a car or add a wing, that sort of thing, it updates the image in your garage if that hasn't already happened automatically.
