Platinum: "The Rain Master"
Win a 30 lap race at Spa Francorchamps, a 55 lap race at Monza, and a 20 lap race at Nurburgring Nordschleife with the weather changeability set to 1, weather at start set to 100%, surface water at start set to 80-100 with grip reduction set to low (or real if you want). This must be done in an Arcade Mode single race with professional difficulty with either the F2007 or F10. Any assists can be used as well as any tires.

For a platinum trophy it should be restricted to, let's say, Racing Soft tyres since they are awful in rain and no assists at all? Plus, it forces you to use manual transmission, a wheel, and force feedback set to max strength. :lol:

Good idea though if the person chooses the real grip reduction thing then they should be able to use rain tires. I tested a 5 lap race at Spa with only ABS at 1 with all of the HUD off with real grip reduction while using Racing Hards on the F2007 and it slid everywhere. I can only hope that Racing Softs would be more help.

Oh, so you were serious instead of trying to kill that person? Then you should allow rain tyres, yes... racing softs are the worst tyres you can imagine as soon as the track is >15% wet :sick:

I really don't understand why PD missed this opportunity of making particular cars being 'special' more interesting/rewarding to drive... if they included such a trophy and let's say 10 more trophies where you need to reach a particular distance with a particular car and give all these a special theme. The theme doesn't have to be more than a title - Kaz's style would probably be
Shift_ The Way You Move. "Drive 5,000km in a stock Nissan GT-R (R35) '07 in Silver Metallic using sports hards or less on the Nürburgring Nordschleife."
but still, that would actually be something cool where you'd spend tons of time into but which would be quite rewarding also (in case they remember to make these trophies silver AND give you a neat gift when you return to GT-life screen after completing that task...)

But honestly there are some quite epic cars they got in GT5, why not giving us a task to do with them. All the Ferrari, Lamborghini, the McLaren F1, ...

Enter an online race at Route X consisting of 15 fully tuned Bugatti Veyrons in a Citroen 2CV and win the race.

Easy. Avoid the Nissan GTR (ANY GTR or Skyline) until you have 1,000,000 Credits. If you bought a GTR after the 1 million, it will be revoked and don't buy one the second time around.

Win the le mans 24 hours in A or B spec with Audi R10

Bronze : "Badbull"

Do a 30 meters long Burnout with the Brian Vickers Red bull Toyota Camry

Challenge accepted. I hate Skylines and GT-R cars anyway. PD give them too much attention instead of focusing on other areas of the game that need improvement.

Wash your car(s) over 100 times (cumulative).

BRONZE "Civilian"
Lose an offline race, traveling at a speed no more than 35 MPH.

BRONZE "Heavy Duty"
Use the tank car to win at least 10 races offline.
 
Bronze: Tinkerer

Customize the transmission of 3 cars.

Gold: Mechanic

Completely customize all settings in 50 cars and win at least 1 race with each car.

Platinum: Master Mechanic

Customize any race car rated at 625 or 650 PP and beat the 2J race car by at least 3 seconds without cutting the track or wrecking the 2J.

Description: Win any endurance event (race level over 30 and a-spec only) with a fair vehicle (depends of event and no upgrades except oil change, car wash, etc...), the HUD off, no music (includes BGM), sound effects at 120, cockpit view only, no drive line, no driving aids, MT (manual transmission) only, and do not use the suspend race feature. A special prize will be given if done with racing wheel.

Yawn, already done, Skyline GT-R R34, stock, in aqua blue. Of course, I don't yet have a racing wheel, though, and I'd certainly like one.

Considering the 24h race that I got halfway through, a full season of Rolex, all A-spec races complete, all B-spec races complete, and only 4 more races to go in Special events, licenses all gold and hundreds of Seasonals... I think 40% of the GTP community has gotten more than 2500 hours of playtime. :lol: It's about spacing it out, and playing on a schedule, and doing everything while not busy.

Break the electric car record around he nurburgring. (08:09.099)

Gold. Next f1 star.
Beat vettels time around the 3 tracks is the vettel X challenge.

The Vettel challenges aren't based off of Vettel's actual times. Vettel's WAY faster than that. :lol: He's a Formula One World Champion. I've seen like 50 people with all gold in the SebVet challenges, but only one ACTUAL SebVet.

They probably let him do the time trial then add on like 4-5 seconds onto his time as the Gold time basis.
