So GTPlanet, a lot of us, make that most of us, about 98% of us, are avid gamers. Being gamers we always have opinions about the games we play. A lot of us may even have, or had, ideas about making the perfect video game. I want to here some of those ideas. You can make it as short as a sentence, or as long as a book. You decide. Here's my game:
Title-Race Driver
Single Player-The game will start out with you picking your drivers name and nationality. Then you will get a couple options. Career, Team Management, and Manufacture. Lets go into career mode. When you enter career mode, you get three options. Karting, Autocross, and Drift.Karting eventually gets your driver up to Formula 1. Drifting goes up to WRC. Autocross goes up to Le Mans.
When you start Karting, you will have to rent a kart for $100, you get a total of $600. You can earn money by racing in mini events, or by entering into club events. Keep in mind club events will pay more, but you need to rent out gear and pay for membership. After you earn enough money, you can then choose to buy your current kart, or pay for an low power electric. You then have to get into club events. Afterwards you go up to high power electric, then low power petrol, and eventually superkarts. If your noticed by a Formula 3 team, you can then move up to Formula 3. You may be noticed by an F3 team at any time in the career. You may not get noticed until your 2nd or 3rd season of superkarts. After F3, you do as many seasons as you can until your noticed by an F1 team. After that you have to play at least one season. You can try at World Champion all you want, but keep in mind you may never get it.
Drifting is the fastest. You go through drifting, buying you first car from a used dealership or private seller through a website similar to Autotrader. You get 3,000 to spend on your first car. You drift through events until you can enter Formula D, and eventually D1 Gran Prix. After that you may choose to go into Rallying, working your way up from gumball rally, to WRC.
Autocross-This one takes a very long time to get through. You start off with 10,000 to spend on buying and modifying your car for AuotX. Once you get some more money, you can start to enter into SCCA events. Things like Spec Miata, and Spec Elise. However, you must buy and modify the car according to specifications. After that you may be able to enter in a spot for Britcar. After that you may get a chance at BTCC. Then the DTM. After that you can try the VLN Series, or FIA GT3, then GT1, and eventually the ALMS. If you do good in the ALMS, you get a chance at the 24 Hours du Mans. If you don't do well, you go back to the ALMS. If you do good, then you can choose to go back to ALMS, or go to another series. Going back to the VLN, you will eventually end in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. After that you can skip and go straight to GT1.
Going to the main menu, you will again see career, team management, and Manufacture.
Manufacture-THis is where you create a new Car Company. Most of the features are multiplayer, but after earning a certain amount of money in Career, you'll be able to use that money to develop your first car. For Multiplayer, people can earn money online, then buy your car. For offline, you'll earn a monthly income. You will be able to set records in this car. You create your car using shell of cars already in the game. You'll be able to add aftermarket or stock bumpers to the car, as well as customize the interior. Then you will be able to bend and shape the car to your desire, personalizing it. You can use the money to create better dealerships, or research things on how to make your car go faster. If it sells well, you'll unlock the Team Management option.
Team Management-You get to start your own team, using your cars you built. You specify which series you want to enter in, then hire drivers. You earn money and can spend it on creating new cars, however, if one of your driver's crashes and kills himself, your team is shut down, and you'll need to start over.
Now show me what you got.
