Heavy Wet tires!? Did you have rain on that track, or do you use them just for the purpose of downtuning?Just down tuning.
To down-tune, there is no tire wear on the event.Heavy Wet tires!? Did you have rain on that track, or do you use them just for the purpose of downtuning?
Is this true?the wets and inters are softer than the softs
In the real world they are, I would have thought this was the case in the game.Is this true?
...hmmm, I never thought of using any wet tyres unless it was raining, this could be a game changer for me...almost like cheating the system to get an advantage...To down-tune, there is no tire wear on the event.
I don't know what impact there is, but the wets and inters are softer than the softs, but how this works in the game logic I don't know other than the tires were pretty grippy.
I thought the wets had harder grip since it keeps the car from sliding and spinning out on the wet roads. But I'm not a car expert. You'll have to ask someone more knowledgeable on that.Is this true?
IRL 100% true but if it is not wet they fall apart, overheat and are tens of seconds slower per lap.Is this true?
Same here. I always used SS or SM or sometimes even SH when I had to lower PP without sacrificing too much HP. Never thought of using wets instead if is wasn't raining. But in races without tire wear it could really be an option to consider....hmmm, I never thought of using any wet tyres unless it was raining, this could be a game changer for me...almost like cheating the system to get an advantage...
Could we do the 4 last events with the same Supra, with various degrees of tuning/detuning ?
Not sure why I was thinking the Supra is 4WD 😅 so of course it will not fit in event 2. I'll try with 3 and 4, and do a test in 5 to see if there is a possibility.I'd guess at most, only two given one is 4WD and the other is a Non-Supra one make. Even then, two is abit reaching with how the WTC event puts you at a significant disadvantage with the fuel consumption.
Interesting that 4 out of 5 races take place in USA locations.
No limit - if you mean tuning/PP.Let's see what the limit is for the Supra race, if there is one.
I see - getting cryptic now are we?No limit - if you mean tuning/PP.
Incidentally, for this week's article if you see it, don't say it. I shall elaborate another time.
