Hopefully, this thread will prevent stupid GTP members from posting in the Rumble Strip for a while.

It's really not that big a deal. If you're not doing it because you think it's going to be intensely painful than you can relax, if you're not doing it because you think it's foolish to inflict discomfort on yourself than I'll agree with you.

I add something.

"Shoot your fingers"

Does it count?

I think the knife between the fingers game is more creative than simply shooting them.

Earlier today, at work, someone's fingers were hit with a sledge hammer (with metal on the other side), oddly he didn't cry out and was back to work after about 15 minutes.

That's not that unusual, pain doesn't always get a reaction out of everyone every time. A couple years I ago while camping, someone asked if the stove was on (it was, we were about to throw on some bacon), and my friend just touched the skillet breifly with his hand. His only reaction was looking at his hand once he took it off, and very calmy asking, "Does anyone remember how to treat second-degree burns?"

Did anyone?

That guy who got his fingers sledged cut his other hand later in that day with what can only be described as a rickety home-made box-cutter that was very old and very dull. All accounts say the cut was pretty deep.

Severe injuries are often masked by your nervous system. If it let you feel the true pain right away, you'd pass out. I broke my arm when I was ten, and it didn't hurt at all until the next day, but then it hurt like crazy.

Yeah, I remember when I got bitten by a dog, I only noticed when I went to drop a deuce.

Okay....

Get a hammer, blind-fold yourself. And then you start randomly flattening your puny half centimeter fingers to 1mm. 💡

thats actually a good feeling IMO
